Essay Body:

As per my understanding, the concept of materiality states that the accounting standard of the disclosure of a specified item as per the matching principle can be ignored if the information if disclosed or not disclosed, does not have any significant impact on the financial position of the reported company, and therefore, does not mislead the investors in any way. (Deegan, 2013)This is however, not relevant for an organization with lower margins, as the small amounts of any insignificant item may have a significant impact on the overall financial position of the company, and can mislead the investors if not disclosed, and hence is “material” for that specific company. (BHATTACHARYYA, 2012)

The concept of materiality distinguishes that some of the matters in aggregate or individual sense are significant & important for the fair representation and reporting of the financial statements, whereas there are also some matters that are insignificant. (Parminder Johal, 2014) A company needs to plan effectively the level of materiality of all items in aggregate and in individual terms and provide reasonable assurance regarding the non-material items as well. (Puncel, 2008)

As per the AASB 1031, the concept of Materiality requires organizations to disclose all material information in the financial statements. The materiality considerations affect the situations in which the question of the recording of a particular item in its individual account or its separate disclosure in the financial reports is important. (Aasb.gov.au, 2010) The AASB 1031 defines the materiality as the consideration of the information to be included in the financial statements, and the way it is presented. (Scott Henderson, 2015)This is important, because the inclusion of the information that is not material and the exclusion of the information that is material will significantly impair the usefulness of the information provided in the financial statements for the investors and other users. (Dagwell, Wines, & Lambert, 2011)

The company Woodside Petroleum has used the term material in many heads with the concept of the significant effect that specific head has or has not. Like in the 1st Quarter of 2014, Woodside mentioned the success in the bidding on the four blocks in the Myanmar Government Offshore Bid Round 2013 has a “material” position in the underexplored Rakhine Basin that is situated off North West Myanmar. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 24)

Similarly, Woodside has stated in its Annual report that the Apache acquisition with the effective date 1 July 2014 is subject to approvals, and taking consent from participants of the joint ventures, and hence the transaction has no “material” impact on the 2014 financial accounts. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 25) Another example is of the mention of the Wheatstone LNG project, which the company has referred to as an excellent asset with material near-term cash flow and production. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 25) Moreover, the company mentioned in the Director independence head about the test of the “materiality” of the relationships and businesses based on the nature of the business and relationship and on the situation and the activities of the director. It further explains that the concept of the “Materiality” is considered from the perspective of the company and its Group members, and from the perspective of the individual and organization with which the director is affiliated and from the perspective of the director himself. Similarly, the materiality threshold for the testing of the customer or supplier is also stated. The materiality of the customer and the supplier is stated as the being the contributor of more than 2% of the Woodside consolidated gross revenue in the case of the customer, and when the Woodside is accounted for more than 2% for the supplier Gross revenue in the case of the supplier. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 28)

Another example of the concept of materiality is evident in the statement of the Annual statement of Woodside where it states to have provided all the necessary information that is available to the company and is material in nature regarding the director who is standing for the election or reelection in the explanatory notes of the notice of the meeting. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 28) The Company has reported in its annual report about the releasing of the financial information that was not previously released and has material impact, is made available on the website of the company. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 29) Furthermore, the corporate materiality thresholds for the assessed risks are escalated to the senior levels of the management. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 30) In the Notes to and forming part of the financial statements mentions in the summary of the significant accounting policies used, the changes accommodated as per the AASB 1031 2013 Materiality regulation and the AASB 2013-9 part b, Amendments to the Australia accounting standards-Materiality (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 42). The Notes to the financial statement shows that the company revenue has material exposure to the risk arising from the fluctuations in the commodity prices. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 70)

These examples show the items, and situations that have material effect, means have significant impact on the financial position of the company.

The problems in the identification of the materiality include various factors. As per the IASB, the materiality of an item or situation is determined based on the judgment of the influence of the situation and item disclosure on the user of the financial statement. Moreover, it also depends upon the users of the financial information and their decisions nature. The companies should assume that the users of the information have adequate knowledge of the business and financial reporting system, but cannot assume them experts in this field. The management is of course is not expected to fulfill all the information requirement of the wide range of its primary users of financial information, however, the management is expected to cater with and provide all the information that can have material effect on the decisions of a wide range of the primary users of its financial information.

An example can be of the disclosure of a small business division or of small venture which is not significant at the current time abut have vast implications in the future as the management is considering to expand in this area. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016) This is evident from the bidding on the four blocks in the Myanmar Government Offshore Bid Round 2013 that Woodside reported as having a “material” position in the underexplored Rakhine Basin that is situated off North West Myanmar. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 24) Moreover, the detailed information and disclosure about the immaterial transactions makes the material information very difficult to find. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016, p. 16) This is the case in the annual report of the Woodside, where the company mentioned about the effect of the transactions of the acquisition of the Apache LNG project which is listed to be effective on 1st July 2014 does not have any material effect on the 2014 financial statement of the company   (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 25). The IFRs does not prohibit the companies not to state the immaterial information in the financial statements, but asks to keep guard against the obscurity of the financial information because of the immaterial information. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016, p. 16) The information about the immaterial effect of the acquisition provided by the Woodside is not obscuring the material information, and is even clarifying the reason for not recording of the transaction effects on the 2014 financial statements. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 25) This also provides as an example for the immateriality clause as per the IFRS that states that the management would often want to provide the investors and users with the information about the immateriality of a transaction, which may have been considered by tem as being material. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016, p. 17)

This is also evident from the Chairmen’s report in which the chairmen has stated that the fall in the oil prices, if remained like this, will reduce the company’s cash flows, and the company is subject to material changes in the environment. However, the company is committed to provide the 80% payout ratio, if no other major “material” changes are occurred in the environment. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 6) Another major factor for the assessment of materiality of a situation or transaction is the qualitative and quantitative assessment. The quantitative threshold presented as a portion of the profit or net assets can be used as a measure for materiality. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016, p. 14) Like presented by the Woodside of the materiality of the supplier, it stated the threshold of materiality as 2% of revenue of the supplier is If accounted by the Woodside. Similarly, the threshold for the customer materiality accounts for more than 2% of the customer is if it is accounted for the consolidated gross revenue of the company.

The materiality concept that is used in general concept for the obligated disclosure of the requirements as per a specified process. It is similar in concept with the materiality requirement of the financial reporting. Above-mentioned factors usually referred to the materiality of the bidding process, or the materiality of an acquisition, or the materiality of the independence, or activities of a director. Now, the materiality concept in terms of the financial reporting and the issues related to it as per the AASB and IAS will be discussed. The AASB and IAS require the similar general concept of the materiality to be applied in the materiality of the financial reporting. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016, p. 9) For the financial reporting of the company, the company needs to assess the materiality of the heads on individual and aggregate basis. The materiality is assessed of the information if reported individually and if reported on aggregate basis, and depending on the results the financial information is reported based on the materiality of the item. The materiality is also concerned with the assessment in terms of the way the information is to be presented in the financial statements. The information if presented in a way that it obscures the information will be considered as a prohibition of the information disclosure and will have effect on the decisions of the users of the information. The similar requirement is needed in the presentation of the financial information in the notes to the financial statement of the company. this if also not presented in a way that it is difficult for the investor to understand it and thus have material effect on the decisions of the investors is considered as a hurdle in the disclosure of the information of the company. (Aasb.gov.au, 2016, p. 16)

The materiality thresholds, and concepts applied in the annual report of the company that is Woodside Petroleum Limited and its relation to the usefulness of this information for the decision-making by the investors and users of this financial information will be discussed in detail now. 24) This materiality assessment of the biding success of the four blocks by the company provides the investors with the useful information about the good cash flows that can be expected I the near future from this investment in the exploration sites of the Rakhine which were previously unexplored. This also provides the information to the investors that this is now an asset for the company and provides the company with the competitive edge. The investors of the company may use this information to retain the stock of the company and the potential investors of the company may use this information to buy the company stock in light of the expected cash flows. Similarly, the chairmen has stated that the fall in the oil prices, if remained like this, will reduce the company’s cash flows, and the company is subject to material changes in the environment. However, the company is committed to provide the 80% payout ratio, if no other major “material” changes are occurred in the environment. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 6) This information can also aid as being the attraction for the potential investors of the company to invest in the company for gaining the dividend of the company. On the other hand, this may also act as being a concern for the investors as it shows that the oil prices have a material effect on the company financial position and the further fluctuations may affect the dividend payout ratio, even with the company’s commitment. 28) This example provides insightful information about the election process of the board of directors adopted by the company and explains about the healthy system followed by the company. This will aid in the decision of the potential investors of the company to buy the company stock and become one of the shareholder of the company, as the company is very concerned about the choosing of the right person of the representative of the shareholders that is the directors. The Company has reported in its annual report about the releasing of the financial information that was not previously released and has material impact, is made available on the website of the company. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 29) This example of the materiality release will affect the decisions of the investors depending on the nature of the information that has been released on the website, which have material effect on the company’s financial position but it were not released in the past. This information also raises concerns about the company that the past decisions of the investors were based on the in complete information as all the material information was not published by the company. Another example is of the mention of the Wheatstone LNG project, which the company has referred to as an excellent asset with material near-term cash flow and production. (Woodside.com.au, 2015, p. 25) this information will provide the investors about the expected future cash flows of the company and will cause the investors to decide to retain the company shares, and for potential investors of the company to buy the company stock attracted by the future cash flows of the company.

Conclusion:

The materiality concept as per the AASB and IAS explains the concept as an item or situation, which has an influence on the decision of the user of the financial information of the company, and thus is considered material information and hence is needed to be disclosed. The company Woodside has stated in various points in its annual report about the materiality of the processes, of the situations, transactions and various factors like suppliers, customers, directors’ activities, and oil prices, economic factors, changes in the commodities prices, and the non-interest entities, acquisitions, and successful bids. The company has explained and stated the thresholds of the materiality of the various items and situations. The company, in its annual report has also mentioned the accounting policies for the materiality of the financial information and the changes in the standards, which have been adopted in terms of the materiality of the financial information.

Rebound Effects

Rebound Effects

1. Consider one of these two sectors: electricity generation or transportation. In both, efforts to increase efficiency can lead to rebound effects. In your selected sector, what are some of the highest risk rebound effects (in terms of frequency of occurrence and/or emissions impact)? How should these rebound effects be quantified? How should efficiency policies account for these rebound effects to prove that they are actually effective at reducing emissions?

Before moving pen about the Rebound effect, it is more important to understand this concept. Rebound effect is define in various ways however it is consider as a percentage of the estimated reduction in the use of energy that is lost because of the market responses and sum of consumer uses. According to the classic thoughts the rebound effect is important phenomena regarding the energy efficiency that compares the achieved reduction in the use of energy with the forecasted reductions about the use of energy by ignoring the market responses and consumer. The market-wide and consumer responses are take place due to the energy efficiency improvement changes relative prices (Andersen, 2013).

To understand the rebound effect the best example is; if there is a home appliance that consumes 100KW energy per year and the other home appliance of same type but with better efficiency cut 10KW per year from the 100 KW per year before accounting for any market response and consumer. Subsequently, if the responses increase 1 KW electricity’ consumption per year, then the rebound effect would be about 10% whereas from 10KW per year the 1 is expected energy saving that would be retaken by the market responses and consumer.

In case if we evaluate the rebound effect in generating power through the lens that tat unalloyed goal of efficiency is to cut the consumption of energy then the rebound effect appears as only a problem. But it is not the case. Subsequently, on the other hand if we think about the efficiency increase in productivity of energy and we expect rebound in demand for energy as we expect from the productivity of labor (Galvin, 2015).

Enhancing the productivity of energy at which we utilize energy assets essentially implies we are attainting more energy out of our assets than any other time in recent memory. This fact enhance the value of energy as well as it makes flawless since that we would need to make significantly more utilization of this important energy resource.

In general, enhancing the productivity of energy is in this way is a considerable thing by paying little respect to whether it reduce energy use, aids us to obtain much more esteem out of the same measure of energy use, or some blend thereof. This reason that justifies why considering bounce back impact is important ought to do nothing to undermine the business case for energy efficiency (Andersen, 2013).

However there is another critique from the individuals who see endeavors to consider bounce back as a danger and attempt to release the reasonable proof for considerable rebound effects at every way.

The efficiency of energy should be linked to observe that don not construct your case for proficiency by belligerence its quality is exclusively in lessening energy use. That is simply not how proficiency functions.

The rebound effects don not undermine the case for productivity, considering rebound that forces us to reevaluate the part of energy effectiveness in going up against environmental change.

People in general open deliberation over rebound effect is convoluted by the way that the extent of bounce back shifts from setting to connection, so it is hard to make speculations regarding the size of bounce back.

Direct rebound and indirect rebound prevails the sector of transportation for the adequacy of residential. Effective utilization of resources towards the rebound effects, the major focus on transportation sectors that how the utility gain by residential. Personal transportation and efficient energy resources of electricity is the most studied areas in the direct rebound that leads to the residential services. While the scope of direct bound is limited.  The emerging picture towards the existence of rebound prevail best guess of rebound in the personal transport. The size of the energy efficiency rebound effect evidences demonstrated in the micro economic rebound effects.  (Gillingham, Rapson, & Wagner, 2015)

Towards the quantification of rebound effects in the energy efficient resources, the magnitude of rebound differs by the bulb of initial and type of bulb replacement. A third of switches bulbs of is efficient entail for the negative effects of rebound.  The rebound of 6% is estimated for the average switch where the efficient energy bulb associated, on the other hand the rebound of ca. 3% is estimated for the main bulb that are specifically used  in the rooms. The direct rebound is effective for rebound its direct impact. (Gillingham, Rapson, & Wagner, 2015)

In developed nations, where energy is abundant and interest for energy benefits generally satisfied, in such situations the rebound effects in all probability dissolve from 20 up to 70% of the initial energy investment funds from different proficiency measures (Galvin, 2015).

Considering the significance of rebound effects for atmosphere procedures, the genuine story is in the creating scene. More than 90 percent of energy interest development throughout the following two decades will be powered by the  rising economies of the world and so that is the place of interest for energy service is far, a long way from immersed.

On the base of the aforementioned discussion, it is concluded that the increase in the saving that is gained with efficient energy efforts and practices will be balanced with the energy consumption increase is the actual rebound effect.

Poetry

After reading the poem it is said that the poet is beautifully describes the pray and hymn. He direct talks with God to purify his soul’ he knows that his soul is embodied in the sins and he feels burden due to sins and want to free from his soul from sins.  It is not enough to knock the door only. The speakers ask the three –person to God that betters his heart. The poet wants to better his soul. He requests to God that make him a new person and change his heart and soul. The poet wants to get rid of his sins to make his soul new. He said to God that enters in his soul furiously and angrily. He said to God that he deserves of all the punishments. The Reluctant Fundamentalist movie

a. In two meetings with the “prestige publisher” Nazmi Kemal—one in which Kemal learns that Changez’s father is a poet, the second when Changez has lunch with Kemal—Kemal presents some challenges to the decisions Changez has made with his life. What does Kemal tell Changez at the first meeting, and why? How does Changez respond to Kemal’s comment? What lesson does he try to teach Changez at the lunch meeting? What is the story of the Janissaries, and why does Kemal use it to get his lesson across? What kinds of questions do these encounters cause Changez to ask of himself, and what decision does he make regarding Kemal and himself? What actions does Changez take following the encounters with Kemal, with what results?

Be specific andthorough.

The movie is about the tragedies of eth Pakistani businessman Changez who has the tragedies of 9/11. Kemal begins the scene by discussing eth janissaries with changez. Janissaries are the Christian boys captured by ottomans to be Soldiers in the mighty muslim army. These boys were sent to kill their former families and destroy the former homes when they came to age. The kemal is relating Changez to these janissaries and America as eth homeland. The age of changez  in united states. The kemal relates the janissaries to changez and tell him the story of janissaries.  It is eth discrimination show by many Muslims or Middle Eastern heritage. The Janissaries were part of slave system. The ottomans use the prisoners and slave in their armies. They are wanting these boys to destroy their homes. The kemal is reviewing the Changez journey through American society and his adoption of the American values of hijacking the values thinking. The Janissaries are eth group in which the Changez do not fit but Kemal view is the same. The adapting the values in the American way was made changez in his view slave of education in America as the adolescent boys in Ottoman Empire.   Changez is asking how to be Pakistani in America.

The changes adapted in pakistani’s dream to the students and narrates that they find identity for themselves in the 9/11 discrimination of the Pakistani and American. Reached to a point that the discrimination followed by Changez. The offence was being taken to be as Pakistani. The janissaries was the kemal observation to the fact telling the scene between kemal and Changez. The differences was notified by changez and made his stance of the working over the circumstances. The discrimination after the 9/11 was present there and was developing the scenario. The Pakistani dream which was there with the changez to be and the initiative taken by the govern. The plot between the kemal and the Changez was of eth Janissaries discussion, which made changez think of the scenario by the Pakistani dream to be awaited in eth discrimination. The Adopting the American dream in the age would be the janissaries like who have the adoption of the work done to be the scenario of the weight discrimination. The p[lot is of the scenario to be developed in the form of the working the dreams. The clip did the scenario of the after impact on Changez and he thought of the American dream and letting the scenario developed in the form of the basic scenario. The adoption of the teaching is the scenario, which will be evaluated your adaption of the place. The situation of the being the janissaries and the way to being  developed the culture of eth American but will be having the scenario to be facing the discrimination of the countries and letting the situation as janissaries to be in the plot. The discrimination is the questions, which arises in the conversation and will let him think what we are being the American culture adoption.

b. Near the end of the movie, after recounting his meeting with the mujahad leader Mustafa Fazil, Changez tells Bobby “I am tired of the reduction.” Explain what he means by that, and how he explains that meaning. What common elements does he perceive in both the fundamentalism promoted by Jim Cross and that promoted by Mustafa Fazil? What, specifically, do the “fundamentals” embraced by Jim Cross and Mustafa Fazil require their followers to do? To satisfactorily answer, you need to consider how Changez had come to realize that the cultural, spiritual, and physical damage caused by the two main types of “fundamentals” made living by those fundamentals wrong for him, his family, his students, and his country. Be specific and thorough.

The Changez khan played by is Riz Ahmed is college professor in Lahore suspect by CIA local terrorist his involvement in the American kidnapping of professor. We find the bold changez sitting in a tea house across bobby Lincoln asking him his possible involvement in the kidnapping. Driving into fashback changez was always a fiery college professor who teaches the revolution in Pakistan. His family raised by the Urdu poet father and his son finds his way to Princeton. The film unfurls in non linear manner and the narrative is of the revolves around many incidents.  The Changez emerges as straight talking Ivy League who love US and the job in the Wall street. The Reluctant Fundamentalist Movie

The Reluctant Fundamentalist Movie

A

KEMAL told some challenges regarding CHANGEZ and his life to him and his response was interesting for him. CHANGEZ responded with different facts, which were regarding the love for the United States of America. KEMAL was asking about his time spam in America and development in Pakistan. He was intending to derive information regarding all suspects, related to him, which created barriers in his life. KEMAL started with the question about his country, the United States of America, as he wanted to know his intentions and previous life in that country. The purpose was to know the facts and intentions.

CHANGEZ responded to KEMAL with his admiration regarding United States contributions in economic success and development. The KEMAL’S comment were interesting for him, as he responded elaborately and told all the facts regarding his intentions and approaches towards extreme values. He responded with different facts, as he was trying to convince the KEMAL that he did not converted. He tried to demonstrate his intentions and positive behavior towards both countries, the United States of America and the Pakistan, his homeland.

The lesson he tried to teach to CHENGAZ was about fundamentalist right, limitations and its impacts on society and countries. This is a fact that he was almost converted after 9/11 incident, as he was questioned by the federal agents in the United States of America. The lesson was pertinent to Janissaries, which was a force, made in Turkey. This was pertinent, as he was also kidnapped by federal agents in US and finally questioned. (Nair, 2012)

The question regarding Rainer Kidnapping was prominent as, he was suspected according to CIA. The questions regarding Rainer kidnapping made him to ask many questions to him. In addition, at the place of interview, many protestors were placed outside. This was a great time to save the interviewer with a fine place to escape. However, he seemed suspected for KEMAL, as he was texting her sister according to him. The decision was made to off the interview and go to butcher shop. This was all right to set an interview with this man and derive some information for CIA agents in a café. However, things were going worse, as his students were not in favor of this interview, as he taught the lesson regarding anti America. (Nair, 2012)

Interestingly, KEMAL received the picture of Rainer, who was dead. There was only an option for KEMAL to use CHENGAZ to pass through ground among protestors. The CHENGAZ agreed with his decision, which caused some horrible results. This is a fact that the intention was not bad by the KEMAL but his gun gone off and he shoot his internee. In result, other students in the university shoot at KEMAL and but he was removed safely by CIA Agents from the place of incident. This was revealed that Rainer was found deal earlier in a day and on the other hand, CHENGAZ denied his collaboration with masterminds of Rainer’s kidnappers.

CHANGEZ told bobby that he was tired of reduction. He meant that he was frustrated and losing his capacity to answer all questions regarding suspects and fundamental rights according to religion, society and culture. This is a fact that he was confused after living in two countries, especially after 9/11 incidents. He explained this meaning by illustrating inner wounds. He explained that I do want more frustration and allegations regarding extremism. He wanted to live normal life now, as his American dream was destroyed.

This is a fact that there was a huge difference regarding fundamental rights and definitions. Meeting with Jim Cross and MUSTAFA FAZIL created difference, as both individuals were elaborating their intentions and interpretations. In results, he was confused and wanted to isolate for a while. This is a fact that Jim Cross promoted fundamentalism, which was modern and pertinent to American culture. IT was based on human rights, which discourages extremism as compared to Muslim world. On the other hand, Mustafa was intending to depict Muslim rights, which have to be achieved through exteriminsim. (Nair, 2012)

This is a fact that two types of fundamental have made him to live a worse life, which created impact on his family, friends, and students. This was necessary for him to study his religion again instead of listening two different fundamentalists. This was all about immense limitations that he faced after listening to both fundamentalists. He realized at the end that culture differences have to be happened according to region, religion, values and tradition of people. This is a fact that every religion has it won culture and values, which is different from other.

Interestingly, his intentions and confusions have led him to create a bad impact on his students, as he used to deliver Anti American lecture in classes. Obviously, he was teaching the generation of the country, which was the most important thing for him to guide them regarding their rights. Relative to country, it has to be recognized as fundamentalist according to Mustafa Fazi teachings, as he contained extremism.

On the other hand, this is revealed that people perceive different things from a county’s couture and values. Even in a country, people interpret different things according to their perception, which create contradictions with other countries and cultures. In addition, these contradictions can be seen even in existing country. This happened to CHENGAZ, as he guided his students towards a confused society.

In end, the fundamental rights seemed wrong for him because of two contradictions. He has faced problems in both, the United States of America and his homeland. The two types of fundamentals went wrong for him, as he lacked his own interpretations about religion and culture. This is a fact that MUSTAFA FAZIL contained a traditional approaches, which was pertinent to his religion, which was a valid reason for him to be converted., on the other hand,  regarding Jim Cross, he was intending to be convinced, as he spend a good life in the United Sates of America before 9/11 incident. How to manage Wasteful energy culture

What are some methods that affect and improve culture of wasteful energy that is prevalent in the United States? Amory Lovins suggests that we should develop cultural/social motivations to enact change, but how? Perform a literature search and present some ideas on this topic from two or more of these fields: sociology, behavioral psychology, social economics, and history, other (anything you can find that is relevant). Compare and contrast the suggested solutions and discuss whether you think any of them would actually work.

The wasteful energy is one of the major concern and this concern has becoming more significant as they use of energy has been rapidly increasing. This rapid increase in the use of energy is directly linked to the waste of energy. It is the issue in many ways as the increase in use of energy due to the rapid industrialization is directly linked to the environment. In recent few decades, it has been found that the world temperature is changing that is affecting the entire world due to the global warming. More the energy waste will resulted as more global warming therefore, there is need to give serious concern to find the ways to reduce the energy use as well as to control the energy waste (IBP, 2015).

In this regards, the best ways is to research and development because through the research the real consequences could be revealed about the waste of energy. However there is another other thing because now we are in water and if we will keep on relying on the research and development and do not do anything to tackle the problem, then within time the situation will become more and more critical and we all would have to face the consequences. Therefore, it is the right time to take actions because almost all of us are now well aware about the causes of global warming and its effect on our planet. Therefore, instead of wasting time in just doing research on it would be like wasting of time. However it does not mean to completely cut off from the research and development (Kalogirou, 2016).

In this regards not only the government but every person should be realized that he has the  responsibility to carefully use the resources of energy that are actually a blessing for us but we are manipulating these blessings. In this regards, the awareness programs and interactive seminars would be the most effective ways out to solve the problems.

It is justifiable that the role of innovative technology would be very crucial in this way. There is need to develop the alternate energy resources that should be based on the renewable energy resources. The most important thing is to control the industrial waste of energy. For this aspect, the development of governmental policies would not be the only solution because there is need to provide alternate to the business so that they could not have to face loss and they will happily contribute to reduce the impact of waste energy on our planet. Moreover, there is need to educate people about the effect and consequences of the energy waste as very few of us are well aware of this fact and most of us do not take it seriously as we think that we alone can do nothing. In this situation there is need to motivate people by realizing them that we all are the part of this planet and everyone’s effort means a lot. There is also need to motivate people by not just telling them but encouraging them through interactive education such as the campaign of planting trees and encouraging them to reduce the use of carbon emission cars (̈Urge-Vorsatz & Herrero, 2012).

There is need to promote the organizations that will work on to find other ways of energy in which the energy productivity will be more and the waste will be less. In this regards there is need to understand that vehicles and the transportation sector is one of the major cause of energy waste, therefore after the industries, this sector should be given serious attention. Great efforts have been doing to find the alternate of energy resource that is used in vehicles and many companies have received great success by developing electric vehicles in which the energy waste is greatly controlled. However it is not the solution because electric motors are at its initial stage and there are billions of cars on the road that are using the same carbon emitting engine. In this aspect, the idea of introducing new policies would force the motor owner to modify their engine to alternate fuel engine. However, this would only be possible when there will be an alternate available for them. In the capital of China, Beijing, millions of cars have taken off from the rode by addressing the impact on the environment but they also have given alternate as promoting the local transport. Other governments should also adopt such policies.

Problem-Solution Essay on Electric VS Fuel cars

Abstract

By looking at the modern age there are lot to be changed. The environment is been destroyed by the CO2 emissions and we need to take control of it. The fuel is been diminished and the costs are too high for the fuel. So in order to control this all we need to quit the fuel engines and move towards the electric engines. The reports lighten on the cost, green environment and the dependability for both fuel and the electric cars. We have seen that the electric cars are the best in every case and we need to move from the fuel cars to the electric cars.

Problem-Solution Essay on Electric VS Fuel cars

Introduction

The greenery of earth is being destroyed day by day and air is being polluted. We are the persons who are doing this ad we are the same people who are being affected by it. The fuel in this earth is diminishing day by day and there will be a point when we need to shift from the fuel engines to some other alternatives, Why not today?

http://s.hswstatic.com/gif/air-pollution-cars-1.jpg

In this today’s global world everything is been changing according to the environment. We also need to change the products, the appliances as well. The fuel is an expensive source, which is being used, and being diminished from the world. This is the case with the cars, which we use for the transportation. Cars, bikes, planes, trucks almost everything is using fuel engines and we are polluting the earth together (Westbrook, 2011).

The electric cars can be used instead of the fuel cars. This is the requirement of this era and everyone should join hands in initiating it. Most of the fuel from our earth is been diminished as it is consumed by the transportation mode all over the world. We can save it so that in future something useful could be done with the remaining fuel. Further the environment we are making for our children’s is also very unhealthy as the pollution is all around and same that is been made by the transportation we use. So instead of using fuel engines we should move towards the electric engines indeed (Larminie, 2012).

Problem

https://townipproject.wikispaces.com/file/view/ROB_L_pollution.jpg/33904819/ROB_L_pollution.jpg

The main problem, which can be seen, is that the fuel cars are destroying the environment at its peak, as it is the major source, which is polluting the economy. Further we can see that the Fuel is very costly and on top of that it is been diminishing from, the earth. Before the fuel ends, we need to shift all our machines to some now technology so that there would be no problems when it happens. However, the oil crisis has been seen in the past and very soon, it can incur again. We can see the graph, which states about the percentage, which is damaging the earth (Anderson, 2005).

Proposed solution

The main problem, which has been seen in the report, is that the fuel engines are destroying the environment a lot the graph above also depicts the situation that a heavy percentage of CO2 is being emitted by the transportation and the earth is polluted. Today everywhere we see about the green economy but in fact we are not implementing on it. The best solution for changing fuel engines are the electric engines, which have been introduced years ago.

Many of the people have already purchased but many people have not even heard about it especially in the Asian countries it is not so common. We need to shift from the fuel engines to the electric engines. People are not convinced to purchase the electric cars. However, we will be looking in to the details that what are the causes (Dimitropoulos, 2016).

If we need to save the earth and to sustain the green economy then we need to shift from the fuel engines to the electric cars. Moreover, to save the fuel to use it in the better way in addition, to save the fuel we need to shift the paradigm and need to shift to the electric cars.

Convincing argument

There are arguments from both of the customers who use fuel cars and those who uses the electric cars. Most of the studies says that there are three categories on which they are been categorized. First, is the Cost, second is the green environment and the third is dependability. The three different reasons for the different customers can be seen over here and the arguments they give are

The Argument for Fuel Engine Cars

The persons who are with the favor of the fuel cars they have their own logics and justifications. If we look in to the categories then they says that first for the cost. The fuel engine cars are very cheap if we compare it with the electric cars. They says that they cannot afford the cars and that the reason they cannot change the car. Second they argue on the green environment then they say that yes electric cars are better however if the electricity which is been utilized in the cars are made by coal then it is very dangerous to the environment and it is more harmful then the fuel engines (Natkunarajah, 20105).

Third aspect they argue is the dependability. They says t5that if the petrol finishes they can get it easily around the world means we can find the fuel pumps everywhere and if we have electric cars there are only specific points from where we can charge. Moreover, it is limited to developed countries only. If a person wants to shift to Asian country then there will be lot of problems for that.

The fuel motor autos have a few disadvantages on our surroundings. As indicated by Van Wee, “The significance of the separation between the wellspring of the poison and the receptor is communicated by the centralization of the toxin as a component of the separation between a given area and a given street: the more prominent the separation, the lower the focus.” This implies the impact of fuel autos are on the earth, as well as it will influence individuals straightforwardly in urban ranges. On the off chance that there were an excessive number of swarmed autos, then this makes an exceptionally dirtied air to relax (Mallig, 2016).

The last criteria are effectiveness of gas-controlled autos. Fuel autos are superb autos, they simply require maintain ace. Most fuel autos have a high speeding up. Fuel motor autos could go quicker than the electric autos. Dislike the electric autos, fuel autos makes motor commotions. In any case, there are some demonstrates that does not make an uproarious commotion, which makes it like electric autos. Fuel autos can be driven at whatever point gas is accessible. That makes it simpler than sitting tight for the auto to charge for quite a while.

The Argument for Electric Cars

The persons who are with the favor of the electric cars they have their own logics and justifications. If we look at the first reason then it is cost. Yes, they agree that the cars are expensive as compare to the fuel cars. However, they have a reason and they say that you just buy a car and then compare it with the fuel car over the years then the electric car actually saves you bulk of money and the start up cost is more but maintenance is very less.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ibaTFTr5Mdc/Ue7anfBnYiI/AAAAAAAAFnQ/SWWCJZzSfoY/s1600/worldwideenergy.jpg

The second category they talk about the green economy is that it is the best car and no one can compete it. The argument what fuel cars raise they answer that yes they are right so government should provide electricity made up of other then coal and then it is the best vehicle to use. There is a big role of the government in every aspect, as they need to enhance in order to give benefits to the citizens (Gnann, 2015).

The most widely recognized thought that is going to appear in our brain when hear the expression “naturally agreeable autos” is that electric autos don’t dirty the earth since they don’t discharge emanations, which bring about a worldwide temperature alteration. As indicated by Andrew Bom ford,in his article ” How naturally well disposed are electric autos?” he guarantees that “Power from coal, which is the most contaminating approach to produce power, radically diminishes the ecological favorable position for EVs. Since China, for instance, creates all its energy from coal, life cycle examination of EV autos in China indicates they are significantly more dirtying than customary cars.”(2013). Changing autos to electric autos could be much more dirtying than the fuel autos if the power source were produced from coal exceptionally if there were numerous individuals charging their autos which will prompt smolder coal more than the typical use. Bomford, declares “However in a nation like Norway, where most power is produced from hydroelectricity, EVs decently fast start to beat routine autos regarding their general ecological effect.”

If we look at the third aspect then we come to know that the dependability is less as compared to the fuel cars but the reason is that people are not using these cars enough and that is the reason there are less charging stops. If there would be enough then this electric car is the best alternative and everyone should switch towards the electric car (Kok, 2015).

Conclusion

If we conclude the discussion then we come to know that the electric cars are much better than the fuel cars. If we look at the all three categories then we can see that they have the good and the reasonable arguments for all three categories. First, we can see that the cost ids high but the point is in the long term the electric car is more efficient. The second category they talk about the green economy is that it is the best car and no one can compete it. The car should be working on the electricity that has not been produced with coals. Looking at the third dependability, the stations are in the progression and soon we will see them everywhere. So In short electric cars are the best and we need to shift on them.

Globalization impact on daily life

Globalization impact on daily life

Globalization influences the life of people as well as the business in a positive and in a negative way. Now globalization is everywhere for example; globalization is helping the nations to improve and to increase the standards of education, globalization is helping the nations to improve the and increase the effectiveness of the workplace by bringing in innovation and technological advancement. Moreover, globalization is helping people to bring in new civilization etc. the negative impact of the globalization that the people are facing at present is the uniqueness of culture of the country (Habitat, 2012). Now people are doing jobs in different countries, some people transform themselves according to the culture of the country while other develops the culture of the society according to their norms believes etc.

The impact of globalization in my life includes; with the help of globalization, I can now order anything online from anywhere around the world , for example, I can order book for the studies by using Amazon or another online shopping site . I can order a dress or any other household thing from anywhere around the world. Globalization helped me to find the way to get things at low prices for example; if I am living in America, Europe, and the United Kingdom etc. I can order clothes, or household item from the China where things are cheap as compared to other countries and I will face low transportation cost (Murphree & Breznitz, 2011). Main advantage of doing this is that china Currency value is weaker than other countries like in Europe etc.  With the help of globalization, I can get an education online for example; I can watch videos, and lectures online to understand and to have new concepts. Moreover, now people can have access to different libraries of the well know universities on buying some amount of money (Ursul, et al., 2014 ).

The main role that the globalization plays is the communication, with the help of globalization I can communicate with the people around the world. I can share my ideas, views and give them review online with the help of internet. I can communicate with the people of different countries using social media sites like Facebook, twitter, Instagram etc.  I can consult with a teacher regarding my studies, I can consult doctors regarding any kind of medical treatment etc. With the help of globalization, I can travel around the world by using Aircraft, by using watercraft or by using roads. Another positive impact of the globalization in my life is I can get an education from any country, can get a job in any country etc.

Economic Globalization Assignment

Two factors contributing to the process of Globalization

Technological advancement in the process of a supply chain, transportation of goods and services and in the process of commutation around the world, played an important role. It also promotes the globalization. Technology is growing day by day, with this technological advancement, the way of doing business or trading is also improving for example; it is the technology that helps the countries to build roads, air plans, watercrafts so that, they can be able to trade their goods and services around the world.

With the help of technology like mobiles phones, laptops, software, applications etc. people can communicate with each other around the world. It is due to the technology revolutionized the business as well as the social life of people around the world. The Internet allows people to connect with each other and share their ideas, views and thoughts with each other. With the help of the internet, people can do their business deals by emailing and doing conference call etc.

Business people are using aircraft to transfer their goods and services to the other countries of the world. People can travel around the world using aircraft so that they can find out a new market in the other countries and can start a new business. It is the technology that now people can transfer money to another country in return for trading goods and services. Moreover, due to technology,  companies are bringing in innovation in their products, for example, mobile phone computers automobiles extra (STEVER & MUROYAMA, 2015).

Moreover, the capital flow of movement contributes its role in the globalization. Now business people can travel around the world o seek the potential market so that they can nest money in that country and to earn profits. For example; Apple Inc. is making their products in the China because Apple after the research find that the labor force cost in China is less than the USA and so they planted their manufacturing process in China where they are manufacturing their iphones on paying low labor cost.

Financial markets also contributing its role in the process of Globalization.  Now people around the world can buy the share of any company listed on the stock exchange of a country. In short, financial markets around the world have given access to the companies so that they can improve the economy of the country as well as the economy of the world (Cetorelli & Goldberg, 2012). In short, it contributes to increasing the GDP rate of a country and contributes/ helps to decrease the global economic crises (dgff.unctad, 2016).

16-year-olds to vote

Introduction:

There is the need to recognize the importance of casting a vote, a right to cast a vote is an important aspect, which should be disused, everybody in the nation or country, should have the same right, there is a need to allow the right to vote to the 16 years old. The government needs to identify the importance of teenagers it should also give the rights, support to the 16 year age, voting age should be lower to 16. The young vote caster in the age of 16 and 17 will cast the meaningful vote. A research shows that government has discussed a lot about it that the young teenagers should be allowed to cast the vote or not, however, there are political issues. The right to cast the vote if given the 16 and 17 years of the teenager, then they would empower and their knowledge will be increased, they can better take the decision, and the habit of casting votes will be developed in them in their formative years. Moreover, the teenagers in 16 years are not mature enough to decide what is good for them; they might follow their parents or the one who influence them that the vote should be given to this person.

Arguments for:

Argument 1: responsibility

There are many advantages for society and for the 16 and 17 teenagers, if they are allowed to cast the vote, first, that voting right at 16 years old will have significance effect in our culture, the young citizen will be motivated and they will support the government that their government is accommodating and encouraging them. When they know, they are going to cast the vote they should feel the responsibility on their part. They would pay the tax if they realized about the responsibility. It is also matter of equality and fairness when they know they are getting equal rights as others, they will not miss the chance to cast the vote (Fairvote, 2016).

Argument 2: civic life

The positive impact on the families will take place when there are 16 and 17 years old at the home or households are involved in the civic life. This can turnout their parents and others, of all ages to caste the vote, the early teenagers will influence the family members and people around them. The young voter can also access that who is the right person for them; it can establish the long-life habit, it van makes them sound decision-makers, they needed to be involved with the civic and social matters so their quality participation should be a part of democracy.

Moreover, youth under the age of 16, pay taxes, follow the rules and regulations defined by Government so they must have some voting rights. A teen under the 16 age almost pays $9.7 billion dollar taxes on sales independently. Most of the children work to get the education and to pay their tuition fee, in addition to this, they are paying taxes to get the education. They have the right to get voting rights (youth rights).

Argument 3: Aware of polices and society

Teaching and giving opportunities at the early ages can make them capable enough, to respect their politics, they will take part in the news, they will stay updated with everyday changing in the politics, and they will evolved with the political matters from the 16 and 17 years. Before leaving the school, they will be well aware of polices and society that what needed to be improved or changed. They will be involved with the politics for the later life, the parents and government need to engaged them in voting, the voters will be increased in this way, and right person for the state will be selected by the nation, 16 is the better age to begin with the vote (Davis). When youth will participate, it will generate the much gain from the 16 years of age. It will generate the positive impacts and can capable the voters to decide what is good for them, at the early ages (Vote16sf, 2015).

Arguments against:

Argument 1: Mental effectiveness

According to the World health organization, the mental effectiveness of the teenagers are not fully developed, they just do, what they are guided to do. They brain of 16 and 17 years of age are not fully mature, there is a need of guidance to them. In the case an of a vote, they should not allow to give the vote due to some reasons (yougov.co). They can wait for two years, after the age of 18 they will be given the right, they may be deprived by the group of people, or someone may influence them to give the vote to this or that party. Anybody can target this age group easily by offering them some things they desired off, they could easily influenced, as they are not fully matured (Berry & Kippin, 2014).

Argument 2: Not capable to take decisions

The two years of life from the 16 to 18, can make them capable to understand the government, and the civic parties, children of this age group are lazy. They can learn about the government and after this, they will be mature to cast a vote, according to the choice, the children at 16 years are not much competent or capable to take decisions, they are emotional and live in a fantasy world.

Argument 3: Do not pay attention to the households matters

The two years of life from the 16 to 18, want to change the world; they want to see everything, according to what they desired, they can smart in taking decisions but not as the fully grown adult, like they will be in 18. At the age of 16, they are pressurized by the peer, they even do not pay attention to the households matters, they are not aware of the taxes and property, so how they could decide the political parties and the benefits.

Pros and cons (conclusion):

The children of 16 years of age are not mature enough as they can deprive, people and political parties can take advantage of this age group, they are not capable enough to take the decisions, and they cannot choose what is good and bad for them. However, the early teenage voters can participate with their parents in choosing the best leader, if they are given right to cast votes. On doing this, they will feel responsible and they may try to increase their knowledge regarding political matters, voting right can make them active and involved them in civic life.

Best Manage Change

Best manage change

Managing change in any organization is a very difficult task but at the same time, if the change is managed effectively, it will reward the whole organization. At the organization, it is the duty managers for effectively manage change by being a leader who knows all the challenges that what he will face during the implementation and what he would have to do to achieve success. A good manager will know how he has to engage employees in their team and effectively leads the business so that they can effectively collaborate how to manage change. An effective change management is necessary in any organization because with the changing needs of the world. The need of people also change and business has to innovate things through the different way of working and growing which requires a strategic change in the organization (Daft & Samson, 2014).

The successful and innovative products and services do not come easily. It is the efforts made by the whole organization through managing the structure of the business, effective communication protocols, new technology, employee engagement and many more things. And these all things are not easy to manage, the manager has to lead and sell change effectively. To manage change effectively, the manager must understand the barriers and the blockage that will occur during the change process and how he will manage those things. The managers must now that they cannot force change on the people because change is related to the emotions of the people that occur and become the reason for resistance to change. However, the managers who know how to sell change will be successful in the end through introducing new initiatives and will gain a workforce that will be more engaged and loyal. Managers can apply these steps for best managing the change in the organization (Goodman & Dingli, 2013).

Create the vision

Vision is the first step towards achieving the goal and how managers are going to achieve this goal through a good leadership. Vision gives the idea of future and how managers are going to fill the gap between the present and the future. Change is very much an important part of any organization. The first thing is to collect the customer feedback about company’s product and services because it gives the idea to the organization that where they are going now and what is needed to be changed. There must be an effective commitment from the senior management  that how far they are Willing to go for achieving the success. And they must understand that haste makes waste so for the long term strategy they must balance out the energy (Graetz, Rimmer, Smith, & Lawrence, 2012).

Understanding how change affects people

Before implementing any change managers must understand that the change factor starts from the lower level employee. Managers must consider their employees first that how readily they are going to accept the change and how the emotional pain they will feel. Because it is important to understand these psychological issues. There are two kinds of personalities of employees. Those are “dominance and assertiveness”. The people with the dominant personalities are risk takers and they accept the change far more easily because of their shorter attention span. However, the people with the assertive personalities fear change and are very much resistance to change because of their longer attention span…managers must understand the type of the personalities in his organization so that he must know how to manage each of these personalities and who needs to get address more than the other. Managers should respect the emotional pain of the employees that are in the assertive personalities that how he is going to make them ready and engaged in the change plan (KHANNA, 2015).

Managers must understand that employee who is resistance to change mainly because they are required to do something new and to leave their old way of doing the work which causes discomfort (Synnot, 2014). They think of it as they are giving up something, not in the context of gaining something. Managers must tackle this situation by giving them the motivation that this change will also fulfill their objectives as well. People often feel alone that they are taking risk managers must ensure that if they accept the change they will be on the winning team and explain how it is possible (Pugh, 2012).

Creating motivation for employees for accepting the change

People will not accept change if they think that their current work or situation is good enough. Managers must have to motivate employees about the benefits that they will get through accepting the change. The manager must show them the required behaviors that are necessary for the new change and for motivating them managers must show employees, that how that behavior will affect their position and fulfill their objectives (Sutton, 2014). They KSA match the new way of working and how much important their skills are to the organization. Encouraging them through recognizing their worked efforts will motivate them even more. If people truly started to believe that their resources are being recognized and their human capital are essential to the organization they will embrace the change. Reward plan must be created for the employees who accept and implement change in their work it will also motivate them (Pugh, 2012).

Implementation of change at the workplace

The next step after motivating employees and understanding their differences is leading the employees to change by explaining them about WHAT the change is and WHY it is being made in the organization and most importantly HOW they are going to make it in the organization and affect them as well.

Managers have to explain these WHAT, WHY and HOW questions related to the change. People never embrace the change fully if they are not given full information related to the change (Snell, Morris, & Bohlander, 2015).  It will also help employees by becoming more productive and will save their time if they understand it properly. Because telling the advantage of new technology that will affect them as well will be a personal win goal for them as well (Robbins, Bergman, Stagg, & Coulter, 2014).

Managers then need to explain the vision to the employees. Training and guiding must be provided to the employees at all the level of the work. Senior management must provide the resource, time and money and communication must be made by the senior management to the lower level employees as managers will feel that their managers are very much empathetic enough to provide them all the necessary requirements and in return they will also give them their hundred percent. Communication also lowers the stress and anxiety of the employees. And when the organization is restructuring jobs and refocusing the organization direction, the roles of each employee must be cleared out so that any kind of confusion must be avoided (Robbins, Cenzo, Coulter, & Woods, 2013).

To conclude one can say that managers then must model the required behavior that is expected from the employees and reward must be provided to each and every employee for accepting the change and for their work engagement. Experimental training will help employees in easily adapting the new work or how the new technology works. Teams must be made so that everyone can help each other. Managers must measure and analyze about how each employee are working and how it is affecting the outcomes of the company. The results must be displayed visually so that employees can easily track their position and what is needed and what is not needed in the process.

World War I

World War I

Introduction

War always comes up with massive destruction that resulted in the loss of precious human lives and the financial loss that comes up with the damage of residential houses, building, the destruction of flora and fauna etc. The other losses such as environmental pollution due to the hazardous gases from the bombing remains in the air for long time and disturb the health.

Subsequently, the World War I was the most deadly and most destructive event of that time in the history of human as millions of precious human lives were lost, millions of people became paralyzed and countless people lost their houses.

Thesis statement

Considering the World War I as a prominent in the history of human, the following writing is proposed to discuss various aspects of World War I. for the following writing the argument is planned to discuss that the World War I is remembered as one of the most destructive and bad event in the history of human as it took away lives of millions of people. It is also consider biggest mistake of human which resulted in nothing but massive destruction. This divided the entire world and penalized the development of the world as it pushed the world 100 years back. It was a different type of war therefore; the efforts which were made to protect the soldiers were badly failed as the war was full of uncertainties. In psychological aspect, it seems that the war was nothing but a blood shedding where human were killing human mercilessly as the element of humanity seems disappeared in the events of the war. Almost all the socialists people opposed this war as majorly they all believe that war is not the solution of problems but it will bring destruction. The most prominent experience was the racial diversity as people from almost all races took part in this war.

How the war was expressed, imagined, remembered in literature (fiction, poetry)?

In different literatures the war is expressed differently in which the element of favoritism seems prominent. However in almost all the literatures, the one thing seems prominent as the World War I was just like a doomed day as blood shedding was everywhere, the most parts of Europe and some parts of Middle East were full with the human’s bodies and the corps were watering by blood than water. The atmosphere was polluted with the dust and hazardous gasses of bombing and the bullets were flying everywhere. It was like a doomed day as most of the literatures has expressed that even having feelings for the others, soldier were helpless in front of their duties and killing others. Grayzel has quoted a story in which she had quoted the words of a soldier who took part in the war and explained that “3 German soldiers were appeared as they were badly bleeding and were screaming for help and were crying for mercy but I had to follow the order and we had no feelings and so we left them to die”(Grayzel, 2012).

How effective were attempts to protect soldiers in the war?

World War I was the deadliest ever event in the history since it took place as there were around 60 million soldiers from all over the world participated. These soldiers fought war in various location of the world including Greece, Iraq, France, China, North Sea, Pacific Ocean, etc. They had to face great uncertainties. However it was believed that they soldiers were well equipped but unfortunately, there preparation for the war was not enough as they had to meet with uncertainties in the war. However the training were made to train the soldiers to protect themselves in the challenging situations but these trainings were not enough in front of the deadliest weapons and environmental conditions(Grayzel, 2012).

This war was a terrible experience for all even they succeed to won the war of they have lost the war because it was the uncertainties hit them everywhere. It was found that the helmets which were used to protect the soldiers were not effective to resist against the rifles and the half body armors were also not contributed to protect the soldiers.  Especially the Adrian and Brodiewere badly affected as their helmets were failed to protect them. However somehow the full body armors were seem effective to protect the soldiers but they were too heavy to carry therefore they were not used effectively as they resisted the soldiers to everywhere.

Overall around ten million soldiers died during the World War and it is said that they died for nothing. According to the study it is found that the curator and zoologist of the armor collection and Met’s arms were also not effective however these techniques were effective to save some lives. The United Stated Armor body program was badly failed as it was found ineffective to millions of soldiers’ lives. The failure of the efforts to protect the soldier can be imagined as in starting month France had to lost around 250,000 soldiers as all the efforts to protect the soldiers were badly failed. However in these efforts only America somehow seems to protect some of their soldier through the American Expeditionary Force as it is stated that through this program the deaths batter cut around 26,000 deaths(Grayzel, 2012).

How did psychology explain what was happening in the war?

The psychology explains that the World war was not ended with the ending announcement but it remained continue until the witness of the war remains alive because those who were killed people and those who became the victims, never forget the events of the World War I. It is found that the rate of psychological breakdown was extremely high among those who returned from the battle field also it was found that those who left their post were suffering badly from the mental stress of war.

It can also be imagined that how horrific the war was as the suicide became a major issue among the soldier who returned from the war. In this war, there are many incidents in which a large number of family members were fighting together therefore, to see the dead body of the family members and friend put them in great shock. The suicide ratio was highest among Americans and Germans and around four thousand soldiers from Germany killed themselves(Grayzel, 2012).

It was also found that it was quit hard for returning soldiers to readjust to civilian life therefore, most of them were found in physical trauma in result of losing their families and friends. It was even hard for the soldiers to share their experience. The psychological impact of the war were remained continue for a generation.

The term “Shell Shock” was also emerged in the starting period of the war as the soldiers share their experience under the fire of World War I. After the war the shell shock became the military priorities as psychiatric causalities battered the power of front line units.

Why were people opposed to the war?

Antiwar movement was seen in almost all the countries and most prominently the pacifist or the socialist groups and the radical unions were prominent to protect against the war. In Britain Independent Labor Party opposed the war as they consider it as an in-humanistic approach. Women rights groups also opposed the War in which the Women Social and Political Union was prominent. In America Women also protested against the war and in January 1915 the Women’s Peace Party called the neutral countries to help to restore the world peace by stopping war and in this regards, 150 countries Peace Conference was held in Netherland(Grayzel, 2012).

The Industrial Workers of the World also opposed the war and started an antiwar movement in USA. Most of the people believet that the idea of War is not in the favor of the world and they asked to solve problems through the table talk. However the Americans were not in favor of the America to join war because they believe that it is the European issue and America should remain away. The German and Irish immigrants were not in favor that America get involved in the war. Some people believe that getting involved in the war would disturb the relations of America with other countries and it would penalized the economy growth.

What was the experience of non-combatants in the war?

The experience of the noncombat was very bad as they had to subject to army discipline but they were not heaving weapons and they were not allowed to participate in battles. Their tasks were to provide the physical labor to the army in British Isles and overseas. However those who rejected to follow the orders were badly punished through the court martialled and they were sent to jail. They also had to face the terrible physical and emotional experiences(Grayzel, 2012).

What was the experience of colonial troops in the war?

The most considerable part of the war experience was that there was racial diversity as people from all over the world and from all the races were fighting in the war. The war experience for the colonies, radical groups and dominions was profoundly transformative at various levels. Most of them had to face racist attitude and hate from the locals. For the Imperial defense the colonial were regularly used by the British but they were not asked to fight against the white races. Subsequently, the Indian troops was not given permission to fight in South African(Grayzel, 2012).

Conclusion

The World War I is no doubt was one of the most deadly events in the history of human. The aforementioned discussion has shown that this war is still remembered as a dark period of human history which is full of the greatest event and cruelest events of human executions. Every country was affected by it and the soldiers even from the winning countries never forget this event. This event brought great changing to the world. The psychological effects of the war were remained with the generation. The people who opposed the war were found right at the end as the war was ended with nothing but massive destruction, the mountains of dead bodies, the streams of blood, the burning houses, the destroyed crops and the hazardous gasses contaminated atmosphere were left behind.

US Law

The US patriot act

The US Patriot Act is the one of the greatest act that has been established in the recent years. This was made by the President George W. Bush and it was made on 26 October 2001. It was made for the security and protection of the citizens. There were many reforms and good doing that fall in this act. Some of the major titles are Enhancing domestic security against terrorism, Anti-money-laundering to prevent terrorism, Removing obstacles to investigating terrorism, Increased information sharing for critical infrastructure protection, Improved intelligence, Border security, Surveillance procedures and many more (Justice.gov, 2016).

We can see that by implementing the act the country is much safer. There are many reforms that have been made due to this act and that have much more benefits for the country than ever before. What I can see that there are no sacrifices that are been made according to the law. In my opinion there are best practices that are been implemented by the police and the state to protect their citizen.

What I believe is that there must be good changes that can be made according to my opinion. For example, there should be more random checking and the crime should be eliminated according to the act. The police persons and we also knew that the smuggling, intoxications and the people who are not following the rules of the state. They should be caught in every case and the police officers who allow them to do that should be suspended forever.

I can personally give the sacrifice if they would stop me randomly and ask for the checking of the car or mine. This will be appreciated because due to this, there will be terror on the persons who are going against the law and the illegal acts will be reduced by this.

11-Miranda

Yes in my opinion, Miranda rights are still necessary. It was a good step taken by the State and it should be kept in progress. Before this right, we have seen that in many cases people were forced to speak something. By doing this there were many problems in the past as the person is confused and might say anything wrong and by doing that the data is been written and is been used against them. That his own statement goes against the person. That’s the reason in my opinion Miranda rights should be there so that is there is any problem the person could be remain silent and further steps can be taken in this regards (Nolo.com, 2016).

There were many changes made in the Miranda but there are some major change that have been made and that will be discussed. What we can see is that the biggest point in the Miranda was that a person could remain silent. However, we can see that it has been changed. Now there is no right for the person to remain silent. This change was made due to the some incidents.

If we look at the Miranda law then we come to know that it was a good stance that a person could remain quite as he will contact his lawyer in court or he do not want to give any kind of explanation to the police officers. Living in the Free State that right must be prevailing there so that there would be no pressure on the victim that you need to speak in any case. However, we know that the terrorist attacks and suicide is becoming common and the state needs to change the law so that no one could be left behind but still there are some rules, which needs to be followed.

The purpose of the Miranda law is good and looking then it actually gives the security to the citizens so that there would be no harm to the society that is the best thing by implementing.

Hitchcock and Gothic

The Hitchcock has created horror through the lives of birds. The novel Daphne du Maurier  has the theme of mystery how the place of the British government  through the birds directing the meaning of the wording words and concerned people have  mystery of the waking up the concerned amateur way of taking the ways out of the circumstances . The marking Caps issue of the stage is well designed and they are concerned making the knocking out of the working nature of the market working the concerned division of the wonder act divided to the concerned. The purpose of the writing is to create understanding about the influence of Hitchcock on Gothic.

The perfectly designed matter of music to create the emotions of horror has worked well and as the music used in the movie really develops the emotional feelings of terror and horror to the viewer. The plot of working differently defined the versions of making the montage and the newly dressed costumes are well decorated and the sense of music is concerned with eventual nature of making things smoothed. The outgoing of the natural circumstances is well equipped with the maturing circumstances advanced. The attacking to the human population is well arranged to the support of the scenario andto support the deployment version.  I’m going to stop reading here.

The film was among the  one of the successful movie of the time as the narration is well endangered of the concern the making of the film is well defined and as well as it provides help to learn. The dialogue as well as the get up of the characters seems very natural that gives a realistic look to the viewers by addressing the emotional attachment of the viewers through the music that perfectly suits the situation..The desirable film is wondered and valued because of the balance in the action, the body language, the dialogue with the scenarios supporting music. The Hitchcock Rebecca is successful film as throughout the movie the music raised the feelings among the viewers as the wondering things are happening around them. The desirable scene is on the one scenario version of marking the stanceevaluated. The version of the making the things developed and wonder around the certain nature of the making the concerned departmental scenario developed.

The film is essential parts of the making natural environment for the viewers by involving the measurement dissolution of the pattern the wondering the scenario of the dilemma constraints of the suspense of the concerned dissolution involvement marking the stances working of the stances worked deployment scene adopted version concerned measurement deployment. The motif nature of circumstances verdict dilution reefed to marking the exact conversation deployment. The concern is development the things back the space to give natural feelings.  The working elusion dissolved rendered making of the mix.  The meanings are working of the newer talent discussing the dilemma of the concerned. The consignment involvement revealed to the basics in the measurement of the scene.

The reviews are bad of stating the nature the narrator’s task as that was not been performed well. Mrs de Winter is an evolutional character in the movie. The novel and the film have a different core of the marking of the good scenario that is concerned with tasking of the apprehensivedimension of the nature and dwelling the version of the circumstances in the measurement and developed the natural construction into the agenda version drastically subject and version of the nature concerned. The marking are of the scene nature making the deployment of the concerned making the version to another level wording things concerned measurement nature. The dialogue of Mrs De winter were perfectly suited to his characterand to give an impressions to the viewers but here the music role was prominent to justify and to support the scenario effectively.

The ghost in the story appears in somehow realistic styleby making things grow. They have come to England which when caning the neutral making the version of the concerned making the dilemma of the nature and bird having the attacks on human concerned development version. The stance is of the emerging ghost. The plot is nearly good but according to the critic the plot is really dull and making of the version of the sense of marking endanger birds.

Mrs. Danvers is the housekeeper at the Manderaley and eventually developing the plotter. Her nick name is Danny originates to the death of the previous mistress and marking the nature of the concerned. The newer Mrs. De winters are a central character of the movie. This character is trying to take the place of the Rebecca and built up the scenario of the concerned measurement of the marking the tasks of the wonder valuation changing the dilemma.  They kept secret Davners and ultimately found the illness. The plots are of making the nature development of the task. The making of the film is at the better instance.  Dialogues are of the saying that I watched you go down and a year ago.

The musher is responsive along with the meaningful nature of and theconcern management verdict policy concluded with the instrumental verdict of the dilemma of the case scenario addiction of numerous paper work diluted with the nature of concern. The production is the enormous valuation revealed to the mandatory concern. The dilemma is the plot in which the story is told within the maximum approach verification. The authentic nature is to describing the major wording of the nation measurement conflict. The describing making the session of the above maintained valued level of the making allowed district making the concerned by the marking certain level of the mystery of the verdict always citation measurement.

The Secret are saving characters which have the wonders of working as the secret not telling character. Twentieth century would be extensive because of the marking the natural apprehensivesection of the overall deciding to not explaining the disease too. This much secret keeping the character to be looking bad and indulging in the circumstances wondering the measurement of the wonders notes explaining concern development. The Concerned dilemma is the secret character wondering the making the version of evolution measurement concerning divisors of the concerned character involved in the making of the measurement concerned development in the scenario.

The premium nature of the concerned deployment of marking the nature is dissolved by the customs and the verdict of the hedging of the concerned employment dissolution that involved extra ordinarily visiting the circumstances developed making the construction deployed of the making of the market scenario development of the nature construction measurement evolved basically measurement of the concerned measurement discussion perfection deployment involved concerning the concerned.

Both the writers of the novel presents the feminist touch of the natural consistency of the marking the version of delaying the plotter the concerned measurement will be checked by the consultancy of the working measures. The heroes of the female will be wondering the measurement of the basic concern is development of the characters. The female heroes are well known to the describing nature of the amateur and making the things working the nature of the making the concerned departmental scene improvement.

English 150 Final Exam

What pivotal events have defined or changed your life (i.e. starting college, returning to college, a career change, an illness, a move, or a change in family structure)?  How do you think your life would be different if these events had not occurred?  How might your life still be the same?

There are so many event in my which aided me to improve my life but I believe that getting education in outside my country is one of the most prominent event in my life that has completely changed my life. I always enjoy my studies and I always love to learn new things therefore, because of enthusiasm to learn knowledge I have a good student. However my thirst to explore new things, meet with new people and learn knowledge never ends and it always keep me warm to move forward.

After finishing my schooling in my country I decided to go abroad for foreign studies and then the journey that changed my life was started. I came to aboard for higher education but It is not the education that has changed my life but my experience to meet with the people from different cultures, different regions of the world and with different religion has given great exposure to my life.

The life that I had been living in my country since my birth is much different than the life I have been living since I have left my country for higher education. After leaving my country I have experienced some good things and some bad things but overall I think that I have learnt a lot because obviously the good things have enhanced my knowledge and the bad things given me lesson and experience.

In my country I was living somehow an aimless life because I was not having responsibilities and I was very careless as my father and mother mutually take care of all the matter and we have servants to do other things for us. However, since I have left my country proposed to get higher education in foreign countries, I feel a great change in my personality. I have become responsible as well as I do everything with great care because here I am alone and I have realized that I have to face challenges by myself. In the starting days I badly miss my parents but with time I came to learn that I have to face challenges to learn something. With this enthusiasm to learn more to become a respectful person in my family, to support my family as well as to help my country, I decided to remains determined to face all the challenges in aboard land. This thing has helped me to achieve some maturity in my personality and I started to feel strong in myself.

Secondly, I would love to share one thing that more than any other thing we should give respect to humanity. I feel that before meeting with the people from different countries and different religions we have a different set of mind about them but when I interact with them, I realized that we all human are same but we are just divided into different regions and religions and at this fact I remind the last Sermon of Holly Prophet in which he said that only those are better who are good in their behavior. Therefore I can proudly say that I have learnt to respect humanity and this fact has changed my views and my thoughts about the people who belong to other religion and regions of the world.

I also feel that this thing has brought great change into my personality because as I arrived here I found some very helping people who have helped me to improve my skills in realistic ways. I feel that this is the real difference in the education because I found that what I have learnt in my country was just limited to the knowledge of book but here I have learnt knowledge through theory as well as through the practical which helped me to learn better than ever before.

There is another thing which I want to share as after coming abroad I have learnt about the cultural differences and at once I believed that it would be so hard to live in a place with different cultural and social aspects among different people. Most interestingly I came to realize that God has gifted great ability to the human to be adjusted according to the circumstances. I believe that this a very important thing because if I look into my future, I can see that I would have to meet with the different people therefore, it would be very helpful for me to interact effectively and confidently when I will have some awareness about their cultural aspects because everyone has some deep relations with his cultural and social aspects. Therefore, I have realized that to work in a global setting, my experience of getting education with people from different regions and religions has given me platform to get ready for my future.

My Talents Fit In To Make This A Better World

My Talents Fit In To Make This A Better World

I am an ordinary person but not always, it is fit to me because critical thinking about different perspective in this world tends me to do something for the world. I am a man with the soft heart and always there is a corner in my heart for those who are living in the hostile environment. After getting involved in meditation I come to the conclusion that I can change lives of people initially in my close circle and externally as well in the whole world.

The world’ part such as Iraq and world part such as Nigeria and World’ part such a Libya tends me to do something for the people and to make a good world for other in the almost same manner it is for me here living a perfect life. My talent lies with the motivation aspect to the people who are not living a good life but they are actually wanted to live. I have understood that my plot to do work is all about the social institutions in the misery form. The form represents as one of the best way to develop the perfect match towards the perfect life. Those who are in misery life of course not only spending their lives in the same way as they are getting now but some of them want to change but they cannot because they think that they have no opportunity. They think that they are with the bad luck.

I believe and can motivate other people that all about in this world is about the good luck there is nothing over here about the bad luck. There are various opportunities can explore ideally in allocating things in detail. I can convince people and I shall in my future because my talent is calling me to do something good for society.

16 year olds to vote

Introduction:

There is need to recognize the importance of casting a vote, right to caste vote is an important aspect, which should be disused, everybody in the nation or country, should have the same right, there is a need to allow the right to vote to the 16 years old. Government need to identify the importance of teenagers, they should also given the rights, support should be given to the 16 year age, voting age should be lower to 16. The young vote caster in the age of 16 and 17, will caste the meaningful vote. A research shows that, government has discussed a lot on it that the young teenagers should be allowed to caste vote or not, however, there are political issues. The right to caste vote if given to the 16 and 17 years of teenager, then they will be empowered and their knowledge will be increases, they can better take the decision, and the habit to cast votes will be developed in them in their formative years. Moreover, the teenagers in 16 years are not mature enough to decide what is good for them; they might follow their parents or the one who influence them that the vote should be given to this person.

Arguments For:

There are many advantages for the society and for the 16 and 17 teenagers, if they are allowed to caste the vote, first that voting right at 16 years old will have significance effect in our culture, the young citizen will be motivated and they will support the government that their government is accommodating and encouraging them.  When they know, they are going to caste the vote they will feel responsibility at their part, and they will pay the tax. It is also the matter of equality and fairness, when they know they are getting equal rights as others, they will not miss the chance to caste the vote (Fairvote, 2016).

The positive impact on the families will take place, when there are 16 and 17 years old at the home or households are involved in the civic life, this can turnout their parents and others, of all ages to caste the vote, the early teenagers will influence the family members and people around them. The young voter can also access that who is right person for them; it can establish the long-life habit, it van make them sound decision-makers, they needed to be involved with the civic and social matters so their quality participation should be a part of democracy.

They will be involved with the politics for the later life, the parents and government need to engaged them in voting, the voters will be increased in this way, and right person for the state will be selected by the nation, 16 is the better age to begin with the vote. When youth will participate, it will generate the much gain from the 16 years of age. It will generate the positive impacts and can capable the voters to decide what is good for them, at the early ages (Vote16sf, 2015).

Arguments against:

According to the World health organization, the mental capacity of the teenagers are not fully developed, they just do, what they are guided to do. They brain of 16 and 17 years of age are not fully mature, there is a need of guidance to them. In the case of vote, they should not allow to give the vote due to some reasons.

They want to change the world; they want to see everything, according to what they desired, they can smart in taking decisions but not as fully grown adult, like they will be in 18. At the age of 16, they are pressurized by the peer, they even do not pay attention to the households matters, they are not aware of the taxes and property, so how they could decide the political parties and the benefits.

Conclusion:

The children of 16 years of age are not mature enough as they can deprive, people and political parties can take advantage of this age group, they are not capable enough to take the decisions, and they cannot choose what is good and bad for them. However, the early teenage voters can participate with the parents in choosing the best leader, if they are given right to cast votes, then they will feel responsibility at their part, and may be try to increase their knowledge regarding political matters, voting right can make them active and involved them in civic life.
