Which sentence from the essay best conveys the central idea of "Life Without Go Go Boots"? The rest of my life would be endurable if I had a pair of those white, calf-high confections with little black heels I learned what my mother had been trying to tell me all along: high fashion has the shelf life of potato salad. Style is mostly a matter of acting as if you know very well what you look like, thanks, and are just delighted about it I have a feeling the day might come when my daughter will beg to be a slave of conventional fashion.

The Force Of Gravity Acting On A Childs Mass On Earth Is 490 newtons whats the childs mass

Answered by answersmine AT 22/10/2019 – 03:21 AM

Force of gravity on an object is the weight of the object and is given by mass times accerelation due to gravity. The accerelation due to gravity is the accerelation of an object in free fall and is given by 9.8m/s^2. Given that the force of gravity acting on a child’s mass on earth is 490 newtns, i.e. F = mg which means that 490 newtons = 9.8 times mass. Therefore, mass of the child is 490 / 9.8 = 50 kg.

The main points of critic about the international aid for Africa are:
– makes the countries dependent on the aid and discourage the societies and governments to develop own industry or agriculture
– create incentive and opportunity for corruption among those who distribute the aid

An alternative could be the free trade with those countries, so they could sell their products (mostly agricultural and low processed goods) abroad,  another alternative could be long-term investments made in cooperation with local societies.

Select the statement that best describes how the forces relate.A. The object on which they are acting and the distance to that object determines the amount of force.B. nuclear and magnetic forces are different because magnetic forces are associated with unmoving charges, and weak nuclear forces are associated with moving charges.C. All forces are related to the mass of the object on which they are acting.The larger the mass, the weaker the forces become. D. Magnetic and electrical forces are similar because they are both related to the interactions between charged particles.

The gravitational force Fg between two objects is given by the equation:

Fg=(G*m₁*m₂)/r₂, where G=6.67*10^-11 m³ kg⁻¹ s⁻² is the gravitational constant, m₁ and m₂ are the masses of the two bodies and r is the distance between those bodies.

Due to the gravitational attraction the pencil and the eraser will attract if we there is no friction on the surface.

m₁=10 g=0.01 kg is the mass of the pencil
m₂=20 g=0.02 kg is the mass of the eraser
r=2.5 cm = 0.025 m

First we calculate the Fg:

Fg={(6.67*10^-11)*0.01*0.02}/(0.025²)=2.1344*10^-11 N

To get the velocity v of the pencil:

v²=2as, where a is the acceleration of the pencil and s is the path. In our case s=r so we can write:

v²=2ar

a=Fg/m₁= 2.133*10^-9 m/s²

v²=2*(2.133*10^-9)*0.025=1.0665*10^-10

v=√(1.0665*10^-10)=1.0327*10^-5 m/s

We have the velocity and the acceleration, so we can calculate the time t with the equation:

t=v/a=(1.0327*10^-5)/(2.133*10^-9)=4841.6 s

1 hour has 3600 s so when we divide time t in seconds by 3600 we get time T in hours:

T=t/3600=4841.6/3600=1.3449 h.

So the time for the pencil and eraser to touch is T=1.3449 hours.

Also time T can be expressed like T= 1h and 20 mins and 41.64 s

Answer:

The correct answer is that this passage makes part of an Adventure.

Explanation:

The reason comes from knowing the different genres and styles of writing fiction and also taking into account the way that the situation is being narrated. In this passage, the writer is telling us about a woman, Danielle, who, after a terrible accident is found herself alone, in a really dangerous situation, in an even more dangerous and mysterious place, which she must survive in order to carry out her final goal, which is to deliver justice to those who caused the crash and the death of her fellow passengers. The fact that the passage itself narrates the terrible happenings, bust most of all, the difficult circumstances that Danielle must face for survival, shows that the author wants us to almost get into this adventure of survival with the character and understand how difficult this will be for her. These are all characteristics of the Adventure genre in literature.

Mathew B. Brady  was one of the earliest photographers in American history, best known for his scenes of the Civil War. He studied under inventor Samuel F. B. Morse, who pioneered the daguerreotype technique in America. Brady opened his own studio in New York in 1844, and photographed Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams, among other celebrities. When the Civil War started, his use of a mobile studio and darkroom enabled vivid battlefield photographs that brought home the reality of war to the public. Thousands of war scenes were captured, as well as portraits of generals and politicians on both sides of the conflict, though most of these were taken by his assistants, rather than by Brady himself. After the war, these pictures went out of fashion, and the government did not purchase the master-copies as he had anticipated. Brady’s fortunes declined sharply, and he died in debt.

Correct match of terms are : cell – option 1, cell wall – option 2, chloroplast – option 3, membrane – option 4, nucleus – option 5, protoplasm- option 6, and vacuole – option 7.

Explanation:

The cell is the fundamental building block of the functional and structural unit of all the life form. It is present in all living organisms.

Hence, option 1 matches with the term cell.

Cell wall is the rigid outer layer of plants cells that covers cell membrane and provide support to the plant cell.

Hence, option 2 match with the term cell wall.

The chloroplast is the plant cell organelle that takes part in the photosynthesis. It contains chlorophyll pigment which is important to the photosynthesis process.

Hence, option 3 matches with the term chloroplast.

The nucleus is the dense organelle bounded by a double membrane sperate it from the cytoplasm.

Hence, option 5 matches with the term nucleus.

Protoplasm is the living material of the cell which includes the cytoplasm, cell organelles and nucleus enclosed by plasma membrane, which controls the various activity in cell.

Hence, protoplasm matches with option 6.

The vacuole is the space or body that present in the cytoplasm of the cell. The main function of the vacuole is to act as a storage body for food that grows in size in plant cells with age.

Hence, option 7 matches with the term vacuole.

Nutritional needs can be described as Changing, through life
for Example :
When we are young, we could basically have no problem with our digestive system even if we do not fulfill our daily fiber need
But as we got older, we could no longer digest food as well as we’re young, so we need to change our daily diet into somethings that have more fiber.

From the example above, we can see how our nutritional needs are changing throughout our life
