Answer:

Heat stroke

Explanation:

Since Miguel is out at the field under the hot sun working hard practicing football, it is likely that Miguel is exhausted and very much tired. The water content in his body has decreased drastically. And also since it is very hot, Miguel is likely to suffer from heat stroke as his body temperature has increased at a rapid rate and he is suffering from fever at 140° F, which is a clear sign of heat stroke.

Heat stroke is a most severe heat attach where the body temperature rises upto 140° F or 40° C or higher. It also leads to body cramps, vomiting and severe headache, increased pulse rate. This is very dangerous and may lead to death. Therefore it is very important to take medical care as soon as possible.

O any thing! of nothing first create. O heavy lightness! serious vanity! Mis-shapen chaos of well-seeming forms! Feather of lead, bright smoke, cold fire, sick health! Still-waking sleep, that is not what it is! This love feel I, that feel no love in this. Dost thou not laugh? In tropical rain forest, the animals will have to deal with higher temperatures and greater rainfall. One example of an adaptation they might need is a thin, water-proof coat. This will prevent heat from becoming trapped inside their fur/hair/feathers, and the water-absorbing coating will allow water to stick to the inside of the coat without being absorbed, where the water will absorb the heat instead of themselves, and will cool the through evaporative cooling (heat release through evaporation)

In a deciduous forest, there is much colder temperatures, and significantly less rainfall. These animals would likely want a thicker water-proof coat. This is because the thicker coat would allow heat to become trapped, keeping them warm in the winter, and the water-proof coating prevents water from freezing in their fur, making them colder.

Since a tiny tender child of four,
There’s nothing that I dreamt of more,
Than to jump aboard a great big ship,
A telescope, a map, a sword, by my hip,
To feel the sea breeze in my hair,
To stroke my parrot on the wood chair,
To be bold and brave and happy as can be,
To trek and travel and sail the seven seas.

8 lines. Rhyme scheme aabbccdd. If I managed to write that in about 4 minutes, you could write something much better and longer in like 30 minutes. You can use my rubbish poem as inspiration lol. Good luck X

Okay, I will give you ideas. Lets make this guy’s name Marsel, and lets say he is single, as he is around 25, and lives with his parents, and works as a surgeon. He is a tall, thin man who is a genius. His income is higher than average, and is at the higher end of the income spectrum. His business is to treat patients by cutting open their body and performing the necessary operations. He has to go to perform surgery at any time he is called, however likes spending time with his parents teaching them about the human body. His attitude toward religion is neutral, he practices it, but doesn’t have much time to practice it. Toward politics he doesn’t care except for picking the candidate of the party that he prefers. Toward people in general he isn’t very social, but if he sees someone hurt, he has sympathy towards them. He doesn’t mind animals, and doesn’t care much about them, except if the animal needs something.

For the son, he is a short and chubby 3 year old boy who is curious to see new things and is playful. He makes his mom take care of him a lot.

PS: Since this doesn’t make sense, if you have to, you can say that he is married.

Hope this helps!

As they laughed and enjoyed themselves, Jane noticed that many people glanced at them uncomfortably and whispered to each other. When Jane asked the young waitress what was wrong, the girl avoided eye contact with her, shook her head without saying a word, and quickly walked back to the kitchen. Which of the following is most likely the cause of confusion in this scenario? a. The rules governing nonverbal communication in Japan are very different than those in the U.S. b. Nonverbal communication is ambiguous, and there are several people in this scenario who are all interpreting messages that seem foreign to them. c. The multiple channels involved and the many ways in which verbal and nonverbal communication integrate make this situation complicated. d. All of the above are likely causes of confusion in this scenario.

[ad_1]

Answer: d. All of the above are likely causes of confusion in this scenario.

In this situation, it is likely that all of the above were causes for confusion. Nonverbal communication can be very different in different cultures. For example, the reason why the Japanese people looked at the Americans could be related to body language, gender roles, appearance, etc. In terms of verbal communication, the Japanese might be surprised at their language, the topics they discuss, their noise levels, etc. Because communication is so linked to culture, it is good to try to get acquainted with the culture before visiting the country.

Answer: Ivan Ilyich knows quite well and definitely that all this is nonsense and pure deception, but when the doctor, getting down on his knee, leans over him, putting his ear first higher then lower, and performs various gymnastic movements over him with a significant expression on his face, Ivan Ilyich submits to it all as he used to submit to the speeches of the lawyers, though he knew very well that they were all lying and why they were lying.

In these lines, we can see that Ivan Ilyich is a changed man. The sickness he suffers has allowed him to reflect on his past life, and on all the things he used to value. He now realizes how wrong his values were, and how silly society can be. This hipocrisy is highlighted in these lines. Ivan realizes that so many things that form part of a “respectable” life are deceptions. This is the case with doctors, and with lawyers. And even though he always knew it, he still took part of the activities, because this is what was expected from him.
