When jogging outside you accidentaly bumb into a curb. Your feet stop but your body continues to movr foward and you end up on the ground. Which law of motion is being described in this scenario?A.Law of universal gravitationB.Newton’s first law of motionC.Law of conservation of energyD. Newton’s second law of Motion

[ad_1]

Answer:

Velocity of plane = 30.93 m/s

Explanation:

Considering vertical motion of ball

    Initial velocity, u =  0 m/s

   Acceleration , a = 9.81 m/s²

   Displacement, s = 195 m

   We have equation of motion s= ut + 0.5 at²

   Substituting

       s= ut + 0.5 at²

       195 = 0 x t + 0.5 x 9.81 x t²

        t = 6.31 seconds

Now considering horizontal motion of ball

   Acceleration , a = 0 m/s²

   Displacement, s = 195 m

   Time, t = 6.31 s

   We have equation of motion s= ut + 0.5 at²

   Substituting

       s= ut + 0.5 at²

       195 = u x 6.31 + 0.5 x 0 x 6.31²

        u = 30.93 m/s

Velocity of plane is horizontal initial speed of ball = 30.93 m/s

Velocity of plane = 30.93 m/s

Answer:

The coefficient of CO₂ is 5.

Explanation:

    Balancing the reaction:

___C₅H₁₂ + ___O₂ → ___CO₂ + ___H₂O

There are 5 C in the left side, so we put 5 on the right side:

___C₅H₁₂ + ___O₂ →  5CO₂ + ___H₂O

There are 12 H in the left side, so we put 6 as the coefficient of H₂O:

___C₅H₁₂ + ___O₂ →  5CO₂ + 6H₂O

Finally, there are 16 O in the right side, so we put 8 as the coefficient of O₂

___C₅H₁₂ + 8O₂ →  5CO₂ + 6H₂O

The coefficient of CO₂ is 5.

If children cannot grasp the concept of conservation, they are unable to:

[ad_1]

1. The most common problems that can be experienced when children are medicated are : they can get easily affected by different classes of drugs.Parents should keep in mind that children are more susceptible to the side effects that can come with the various classes of drugs and a child’s body does not absorb and eliminate drugs unlike an adult bodies and that can affect both developing brain of a child and its social development.
2. One of the main challenges that parents might come across while medicating children is actually the doubts : whether to medicate or not, as many parents all around the world are not sure that taking medications is a safe and effective treatment. This is caused by a controversy of opinions for and against this type of treatment. However, any qualified doctor can say, that time is everything to decide and waiting too much can be harmful to a child.3. The controversy over the increase in ADHD diagnoses in children is caused because of its ‘popularity’ among modern scientific centres. To be more exact, the criteria for ADHD have become far wider, so many children may be misdiagnosed due to this wide range of possible symptoms. This information is still not proven, as many other scientists assured that ADHD must be studied in details.
4. The main reason why it is difficult to diagnose ADHD disorder in children is that there is no physical test like blood test or so. Also, there is no single cause that can lead to ADHD, if it happens – it is a complex problem. And there is no one common system of assessment of ADHD so it studies differently in different medical and scientific centres.5. Some of the issues with ADHD medications for children are side effects. Most of the known therapies devoted to the treatment of ADHD include drugs and this can cause many forms of side effects. Some people believe that it can be treated without medications, whereas other believe in complex treatment including physical and psychological intervention.
6. Scientists should not accept money from drug companies for their research because it simply goes out of humaneness. Many people are used to rely on proven medical experts and if all of them would advertise drugs because of the financial ‘reward’ of a profit from the drug companies, the treatment of many diseases would be uneffective.
7. The ethical responsibility which health scientists have when treating children is personal approach to every child that has to take a treatment. A child’s body is more susceptible to treatment factors that adult’s body so scientists always pay attention to individual tolerability of treatment of children. Besides children’s susceptibility they are also very sensitive so the main ethical responsibility is also to make a child feel safe.8.Should doctors continue to prescribe ADHD medications to children
This question is still be the most controversial one. It causes arguments among many scientists from different places of the planet, so it is hard to give the correct answer. But I think that  If parents are against ADHD medications they can ask a doctor to change the flow of a therapy or ask another specialist and organize individual treatment without including drugs.

What was one goal held by some advocates of the progressive movement? providing welfare for the poor establishing a national bank promoting conservation creating a laissez-faire economy?

[ad_1]

Answer:

One goal held by some advocates of the Progressive Movement was to promote conservation.

Explanation:

The Progressive Era is the name given to a period in US history from the 1890s to the 1920s. It was an era in partial rupture with the laissez-faire and individualism of the previous period, marked by economic, political, social and moral reforms in response to the changes and problems brought about by the industrial revolution: the disappearance of a social life organized around small communities, instability resulting from the anarchic development of industry, commerce, business, big cities and massive immigration.

The progressive movement took root at the local level before progressing at the state and federal level until the formation of an ephemeral “progressive party” whose candidate was Theodore Roosevelt in 1912. Like their opponents, the progressive reformers were largely majority of the middle classes.

Some key reforms, such as women’s voting rights, date back to that time, but the era of progress did not benefit all citizens, including minorities, and reforms did not always expected beneficial effects. Some policies, such as prohibition, were a resounding failure.

Deep-ocean lantern fish have special organs that use chemical energy to produce light. However, the light can only travel a certain distance through the water before it is no longer visible. How does this phenomenon validate the Law of Conservation of Energy? The fish is a closed system, so energy is allowed to exit the system. The Law of Conservation of Energy applies to biological, not physical, systems. The light energy travels through the water until it is reflected or absorbed. The light is not carried by matter and contains no energy.

The right answer is C, The water solution in the environment surrounding the cell has a higher solute concentration than the cell.

Plasmolysis (the phenomena of shriveling cell) is a cellular state of the plant cell where, following loss of water, the membrane is detached from the pectocellulose wall. This is the opposite state of turgescence.

Plasmolysis occurs when a stream of water comes out of the vacuole and the plant cell through osmosis. The resulting decrease in pressure causes shrivelling of the soft parts of the plant (stems, leaves, petals), which are no longer supported by the turgor pressure.

This flow of water is created either by the lack of water in the external environment, or by the presence in this medium of a liquid more concentrated than the cellular medium. In these situations, there is a displacement of water by osmosis from the cell medium to the external medium.

Thus, the cells of a plant subjected to a drought or a water too concentrated in salts will lose their water and will be in plasmolysis. The soft parts will then shrivel up and the plant will die of water stress if the situation does not allow it to quickly reabsorb water.

What topic is conservation in green literature?

Lady Bracknell : “I do not approve of anything that tampers with natural ignorance. Ignorance is like a delicate exotic fruit; touch it and the bloom is gone.”

Lady Bracknell says this when she is interviewing Jack as a potential suitor for Gwendolyn.

Gwendolyn Fairfax: “If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life.”

After hearing the story about Miss Prism losing the handbag with a baby in it. Jack tells the women he must go up to his room for a minute. He asks Gwendolyn to wait for him and this quote is her response.

Jack Worthing: “It is a terrible thing for a man to find out suddenly that all his life he has been speaking nothing but the truth. Can you forgive me?”

Jack apologizes to Gwendolyn for lying about his identity when he realizes that, in fact, he had been telling the truth all along.

Cecily Cardew: “Oh, I don’t think I would care to catch a sensible man. I shouldn’t know what to talk to him about.”

Cecily tells this to Algernon after she catches him flirting with her and he tells her that a sensible man could get caught in her good looks.

Algernon Moncrieff: “The truth is rarely pure and never simple. Modern life would be very tedious if it were either, and modern literature a complete impossibility!”

Algernon says this in response to the knowledge that Jack does not actually have a younger brother named Ernest. Jack uses the fictious brother as a way to “escape” his life as a guardian to Cecily and have a little fun.

What are all the laws of conservation of energy

[ad_1]

Answer: C. emits energy when it decays

Explanation:

An unstable nucleus can under go decay process or nuclear reactions – fission or fusion.

In nuclear reaction fusion, the nuclear mass increases. In fission, the nuclear mass decreases. The half-life of a nucleus undergoes no change. An unstable nucleus does not expel all its protons.

The unstable nucleus emits energy when it undergoes decay process. There are four possible decay process:

1.) Alpha decay: In this process, an alpha particle is emitted when a heavier nuclei decays into lighter nuclei.

2.)Beta-decay: In this process, a neutron gets converted into a proton and an electron releasing a beta-particle.

3.) Gamma ray emission: in this process, an unstable nuclei gives off excess energy by a spontaneous electromagnetic process and releases gamma -radiations.

4.) Positron decay: In this process, a proton gets converted to neutron and an electron neutrino and releases positron particles.

All these decays are accompanied by emission of energy.

Thus, the correct option is C.

According to the law of conservation of mass the mass of reactants will be _____to the mass of products

[ad_1]

Answer: Option (c) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

Atomic number means the number of protons present in an element. Whereas atomic mass means the sum of total number of protons and neutrons present in an element.

Also, it is known that when an atom is neutral then its number of protons equal number of electrons.

For example, atomic number of chromium is 24 this means that it contains 24 protons. Atomic mass of chromium is 52.

So, number of neutrons present in chromium is calculated as follows.

                 Atomic mass = no. of protons + no. of neutrons

                            52 = 24 + no. of neutrons

                          no. of neutrons = 52 – 24

                                                    = 28

Thus, we can conclude that there are 28 electrons in an uncharged atom of chromium.

Energy Conservation for Cars in United Kingdom

[ad_1]

This report will address issues related to energy savings and a past preview regarding the said subject. This will highlight major issues related are utilization of scared resources of energy, exploration of new sources of energy and a general discussion about the utility of different energy resources. Some problems will be energy conservation in general in cars. And Pros and cons of economic theory with respect to the subject assignment.

What is Energy Conservation?

Energy conservation is an effort to reduce the amount of energy used for the domestic & industrial purposes, more specifically in the developed world. Each country attempts to formulate a strategy to preserve scared financial resources. In other words we can define this potent terminology as the exercise of reducing the quantity of energy resource by achieving even the similar output. The topic of energy conservation has had promise in previous years, due to involvement by the British Government in the management of limited energy resources and the reduction of carbon emissions.

  This energy conservation can also be defined in terms of Physics, which states “In an isolated system energy can neither be created nor destroyed but it can be transformed from one shape to an other”. For example, it can be transformed from liquid form to gases and then gases may be converted to solid stat.

Energy Conservation for Cars in United Kingdom

Energy Conservation for Cars in UK

As we have come to know that above sited issue has high level of sensitivity, therefore it requires to be addressed in all segments of life to make things better. Vehicles are one of a country’s major units of energy consumption. These are in the list of the highest energy consumption groups, such as industrial production, even in developed countries. I think we should pay attention to this segment specifically when we are talking about energy conservation. In the United Kingdom, different methods are used for energy conservation and particularly throughout cars.

Methods for Energy Conservation

Scraping of old cars can play potent role in controlling fuel consumption in cars. This will minimize significant carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere and reduce pollution. This will also increase in sales of new brands of cars but offering some incentive for disposing of the old cars can do all this. Government intervention in this connection is very important.

To compare the fuel efficiency of different car manufacturers of the same model, people should be given information. This comparison will help them choose the right vehicle to provide them with fuel efficiency. This effect will also increase healthy competition in the automotive industry and overall impact on the automotive industry. Everyone company will try to provide best fuel efficient vehicle, reducing fuel wastage and increasing energy conservation ratio in cars.

Water should be used as fuel. When we talk of energy conservation, this energy source should be known as the most important gas. Similar to other sources, water is a better source of energy. Some people are looking at me with a gauss query. Can water be used in cars as fuel? And my response is ‘ yes ‘. Government should play role in proper utilization of this resource. Water is the largest and cheapest source of energy, but we don’t know about it properly.

Car maintenance is also one of the strategies used to conserve energy. If the vehicle is being handled by a mechanic who is the right person for the job, it will show good fuel efficiency. Proper attention is needed to maintain the car in order to expect good fuel efficiency from the car. All this can be done by applying regular checks and test of your for efficiency of fuel. When you maintain your car in good running condition, it will provide you with great fuel efficiency and reduce your monthly fuel costs.

Alternate fuels should be used e.g. Ethanol, Propane, Biodiesel or Natural Gas etc for achieving fuel efficiency of your car. All this can be done by consulting fuel efficiency offices and agencies for better results.

What is Economic Theory?

Basically, economics is the attraction and a believe because it explains the policies that will make peoples’ lives better. Economics woks like other kinds of sciences and have a regulation component. Mostly it is found in understanding the working of its subject matters. Here in this segment of the life it is also playing its role in the same way.

This is economics theory which literate us for the saving of our scared energy resources and let us formulate the strategies in performing this particular job. Economic theory provides us the basis for our future planning of survival. If we do not pay regards to this theory and let the things happen with no check and balance, soon we will demolish our selves and broke our world into barren pieces of land.

Pros & Cons of Economic Theory

Every theory has its advantages and disadvantages as well. But this theory has more beneficial aspects as compare to the harmful effects or disadvantages. First and foremost considerable benefit is that it gives awareness to the people about scarcity of the resources. Science says that energy can neither be destroyed nor created but can be changed in different shapes and some shapes are irreversible. So, if we do not care about the scared natural energy resources and let them be wasted by our negligence, then we have to pay for this. Future of our generation is in our hands, this awareness is provided by this economic theory. If we control our energy utilization and can control environmental pollution than we can save our upcoming generations by lessening the earth warm effect. This economic theory gives us the procedures to deal with the world economics and achieving the fruitful result.

Economics works on predictions and its theories are valid for some specific time frames. When circumstances change and global preference of countries change then economic theories remain ineffective and they need to be alter with the passage of time.
