You are the shift leader at a fast food restaurant .Two employees named Tonya and Johnny get in a fight.Tonya left out a bunch of food ,but Johnny got blamed and had $15 taken off his paycheck. Now he wants Tonya to pay him back ,but she is refusing .You call them both into the back room to have a conversation

I would say that I think it would be needed to investigate the facts to determine if it is true that Tonya left out the food that spoiled and not Johnny and if there were any extenuating circumstances and to determine that Johnny had no blame in the incident. If it is determined that Johnny had no blame, then the $15 should be returned to Johnny by the restaurant and then $15 taken from Tonya’s pay to correct the situation, keeping in mind that the whole purpose of the pay docking is only to ensure that food is not allowed to spoil.

Since a tiny tender child of four,
There’s nothing that I dreamt of more,
Than to jump aboard a great big ship,
A telescope, a map, a sword, by my hip,
To feel the sea breeze in my hair,
To stroke my parrot on the wood chair,
To be bold and brave and happy as can be,
To trek and travel and sail the seven seas.

Explanation:  Animals, however well preserved and bred in conditions that are not in nature, that is, not in their natural habitat, animals still retain the animal instinct. Thus, young animals in the wild can be met daily, except for members of their species, and members of all other species, including predators, as well as humans. This means that in the natural environment, young animals can find themselves in a variety of dangers on a daily basis, but not only that. In this way young animals develop their ability to survive, escape from predators, manage, and develop their hunting skills, etc. All this is essential for socialization because according to all these developed skills and abilities their socialization depends. To deny any of the conditions prevailing in the wild means to deny the development of any skill or instinct, to deny proper socialization.

Hey there!

Correct answer is D. Comma or Period Inside Rule

A. Question mark or exclamation point inside: those are not really necessary.

B. Colon or semicolon: not, a semicolon would divide the whole sentence and it would be shorten; a colon would work but after requested, when there is already a comma.

C. Question mark or Exclamation Point Outside Rule: would not work, becase it is an very polite and affirmative sentence.

D: A comma or period inside rule: actually, just a comma would work. Please, Cooper’s dad requested, go… Cooper’s dad requested must be in between commas as it is a vocative.

Hope this helps

Rewrite the following conversation between a teenage boy and his mother so that it sounds natural to you. Make sure that you begin a new paragraph each time the speaker changes. “I absolutely, positively do not want to go to that commencement ceremony, Mother. Brenda’s graduation is of no significance to me. Why, he’ll talk on and on about what a great class this is and what hopes he has for their future. It’s a drag, Mother,” Tommy said. “You must go, Tommy, dear,” Mother returned. “Brenda will be all torn up if you don’t.”

If all the genes of E. coli were active at once, what would result? 1. Conversation of energy and resources 2. Underproduction of enzymes 3. Cellular dysfunction 4. Increased rate of cell reproduction

Answer: The correct answer is –

D) giraffes having increasingly longer necks over time.

Natural selection is an evolutionary mechanism that was proposed by Darwin.

According to this mechanism, organisms that are better capable of adapting to their changing environmental conditions, survive and increase their number through reproduction whereas other are eliminated from the population.

Example – Long neck of Giraffe, which is much elongated, lofty stature, that was beautifully adapted for browsing on the higher tree branches. This was an adaptation with slow and gradual change in the gene frequency as the lower vegetation was eaten by other animals. Due to this, giraffes had to search for other source (that was higher tree branches).

This is considered as a peculiar example of natural selection.
