Industrialization led to rising imperialism because
1) show of power: As one makes new technology, they would either want to test it out or show the other nations that what they produce is ground-breaking and the best. Usually if it is military technology, you would want to test it out, and with the use of “show of force”, can have people groups submit to your country.
2) Better technology: As technology advances, it usually makes something easier. In the case of imperialism, better military advances meant that they could (once again) have other people submit to you
3) Better transportation: This meant that you could take multiple countries at once, and can prove that you’re country is great by having supplies shipped over long distances to keep your troops up. If in need of more troops, you could send more.

What type of conjunction is used in the sentence? Either you must stop eating my food from the refrigerator or you must pay me for it.

[ad_1]

Answer:

Your answer would be that the correct version of the sentence is the following one: My brother took out the garbage, and Motehr was very happy.

Explanation:

You should capitalize words such as Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Grandmother, Son, Daughter when they are used in place of the person’s name. What is more, you should not capitalize them when they follow possessive pronouns (my, your, his, her, our). In the sentence above, Mother is capitalized because it is not preceded by any pronoun, while brother is not because it follows the possessive pronoun my.

You are asked to write an article for the school newspaper about fad diets. Which of the following paragraphs would be the most factual? You should choose A for your answer. But I don’t really recommend this diet either because it doesn’t result in long-term weight loss, and it can be dangerous to your health. You are better off without it because even if you follow through with this diet you will not get the results you would like. I’m sure most people would want diets that have long-term results and not short-term results that can also be dangerous.

How can you best help people with eating disorder

The best way to help people with eating disorder is to take them to a doctor because this is a huge problem. Some things you can do to that person is motivate them telling them that they are in good shape and that they don’t need to exercise harshly ( people with eating disorder usually think they need to lose more weight and do harsh exercises to their body for long periods of time), another example is to tell them eating healthy would be better choice than rather eating nothing for long periods of time (people with eating disorder think they are gaining weight with a single thing they eat and start eating at all which later results to this even though they want to eat it’s to late their body doesn’t accept food and they just vomit), and lastly the best way to help and support them is to take them to a doctor because if it’s to late cure the person can die. This problem is usually seen in teenage girls who think they are fat (which they are not) and start doing harsh diets, exercises, and which results to a weak immune system and they get sick more often because they are not getting the vitamin they need from food. Answer:

Number of copy machines must be made to minimize the unit cost=160.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the unit cost function C ( the cost in dollars to make each copy machine)

If machines are made =x

Then the unit cost function is given by

C(x)=0.8x^2-256x+25939

We have to find the number of copy machines for  minimize the unit  cost

C(x)=0.8x^2-256x+25939

Differentiate with respect to x

Then we get

frac{mathrm{d}C}{mathrm{d}x}=1.6x-256 ……(equation I)

To find the value of x then we susbtitute frac{mathrm{d}C}{mathrm{d}x} is equal to zero

frac{mathrm{d}C}{mathrm{d}x}=0

1.6x-256=0

1.6x=256

x=frac{256}{1.6}

By using division property of equality

x= 160

Again differentiate the equation I with respect to x then we get

frac{mathrm{d}^2 C}{mathrm{d}^2 x}=1.6 >0

Hence, the unit cost is minimize for x=160

Therefore, the number of copy machines must be made to minimize the unit cost =160

Here are a few pointers; hope this is useful)

Ovation-by definition- is show of appreciation from an audience, for a person’s accomplishments or flaw.

“Everyone deserves a standing ovation because we all overcometh the world.”

A person’s accomplishment could be how they made a positive change in this world, strong leadership- that makes them a effective leader or simply helping others. A person’s flaw- mistakes in life, sin or even guilt should also be considered an appreciation- an ovation for representing mankind’s flaw and that humanity makes mistakes, fulfilling at least one deadly sin such as greed, lust, selfishness etc.

Thus, regardless of a person’s achievement or flaw- a person deserves an applause for, not the least, living in this society and this world that we are all living together and dying together.

That was just the introduction.. the best part is yet to come.. now it’s your turn!!

Here are other pointers to talk about in your essay:

Shakespeare’s famous line “All the World’s a stage. That agrees with your line: “Everybody deserves a standing ovation…”

Shakespeare explains that men and women are like players: they live, and die, some being celebrated and some forever living in solitude till their death. Shakespeare states the world is a “stage” which symbolizes that mankind is in its peak. The world is changing everyday: little by little and humanity is falling behind.
Due to our world turning into machinery: factories, an automotive future: where humans only job to live (entrance) and to die (exit) the famous humans remembered and the flawed not recalled.

This is according to Shakespeare’s imagery.

I don’t know what grade your in, but I think simplifying Shakespeare’s word of mouth in your essay would be handy and useful as it has strong references of your quote, and agrees strongly in your essay.

Hope this helps 🙂

If the flowers contain 50,000 kcal of energy, about how much energy will the lizard obtain from eating the butterfly?

[ad_1]

Answer: when moving to a lower orbit

Explanation:

In Bohr’s model of the atom, electrons orbit around the nucleus in some atomic shells. Each shell is characterized by a different fixed energy: the shell closest to the nucleus has the lowest energy, and the farther the shell from the nucleus, the greater the energy.

Therefore, electrons orbiting on a fixed shell have always the same energy. When they jump through different shells, however, they change energy, releasing or absorbing photons with energy equal to the difference in energy between the two shells.

In particular, when an electron moves to a lower orbit, its energy decreases, so (since energy must be conserved) it emits a photon with energy equal to the difference in energy between the two shells.
