Treaty of Tordesillas in 1494 was forced on Spain and Portugal by the Pope. Well I live in Florida so; I can explain tourism has always had a large role in our history. During our development, tourism gave us the much needed boost in economy that we needed to get on our feet. The ‘boom and bust’ is what im guessing was the time right before the stock market crashed. The Great Depression almost killed us.. many buisness owners had come to depend on tourism to make a living wage, but since the great depression loomed over everyone, no one took vacations. No one had extra money to spend. Many of those wealthy vacation homes went into foreclosure. The Floridian Economy tanked during this time, so bad we even feel ripple effects of it today, even though we have built up so much more.

The history of Israel as a State begins with its proclamation of independence in 1948. This historical fact was achieved after more than sixty years of political and diplomatic efforts by Zionism to establish a sovereign nation in what they considered to be their homeland , the ancient Land of Israel, also known as Palestine from the time of the Roman Empire.
Immediately after the declaration of the State of Israel, Egypt, Syria, Transjordan, Iraq and Lebanon invaded the new country. In a bloody and desperate war characterized by the use of improvised weapons and skillful tactics, the Jews were able to repel the Arab attack and even advanced occupying new territories. A ceasefire was signed by both sides, establishing that the occupied territories would remain in the hands of Israel. As a result of this war, Israel occupied the territory assigned to it by the United Nations, plus a good part of the territory assigned to the Arabs and the western part of Jerusalem (Israel increased its territory by almost 50%). The western area of the Jordan (known as the West Bank after the Jordanian annexation) was occupied by the Arabs, occupied by Transjordania and the Gaza Strip, occupied by Egypt.
In 1949, under the auspices of the United Nations, four armistices were signed in Rhodes (Greece) between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, but in practice they never succeeded in solving the problem of Palestine and the violence in this region continues until our days.

It’s a generally known fact that the US is a close ally of Israel, and this is mainly why there are immense issues and conflicts between the two religions whom are living in the same territory/land.

The communists policies transferred all the power in society to the hands of the government. This made the citizens to have very little freedom, and the citizens are subjected to the orders made by the government. Since the press in communist regime tend to be owned by the government, it is very easy to paint all of government’s opposition in negative light.
2. I believe the answer is: changing Stalin’s policies
The de-stalinization was initiated when Nikita Khrushchev rose into power. It involves removing all of stalin’s influence in the government (firing all of his followers and backers). It also revert back communism ideology that Stalin implemented and reverse it back to pre-stalin socialism.

The economic policies installed by Krushchev failed to stabilize the russian economy. At that time, the price of basic necessities such as food and housing started to rose rapidly (between 25 – 35 %). Before they initiate the rebellion, all territories in Poland and Hungary were fully controlled by the soviet union’s influence. Limited concessions refers to the territories given to each country in which they have a limited autonomy to govern themselves.
