The _____ approach to psychological disorders primarily focuses on the brain, genetic factors, and neurotransmitter functioning as the sources of abnormality.

[ad_1]

1. The answer is “C”.

“Identical twins” who have been raised apart are typically more similar in intelligence level than biological siblings raised together because they have been born with the same genetic code.

Identical twins originate from a single fertilized egg that parts into two. Before it parts, it is either male or female. After it parts, there are either two guys or two females. The two sections of the fertilized egg embed in the uterus and every create one of the twins.

Identical twins have the equivalent hereditary source. No immediate reason for monozygotic twinning has been resolved; it isn’t innate. Monozygotic twins speak to around 33% all things considered. They may look strikingly comparative, and it might be hard to reveal to them separated.

2. The answer is “A”.

Lawrence Kohlberg felt that one of the only ways individuals will accomplish the objectives in each of his six stages was to participate in “consensus democracy” in small group settings.

Lawrence Kohlberg felt that the best way to support development through these stages was by discourse of good problems and by investment in consensus democracy inside small groups. Consensus democracy was rule by understanding of the gathering, not larger part rule. This would invigorate and widen the reasoning of youngsters and grown-ups, enabling them to advance starting with one phase then onto the next.

3. The answer is “D.  showing a learner how to correct common mistakes”.

The term scaffolding alludes to a procedure in which instructors display or exhibit how to take care of an issue, and afterward venture back, offering support as required. Analyst and instructional architect Jerome Bruner first utilized the term ‘scaffolding’ in this setting, harking back to the 1960s. The hypothesis is that when understudies are given the help they require while discovering some new information, they stand a superior possibility of utilizing that learning freely. Bruner suggests positive association and three methods of portrayal amid educating: activities, pictures, and dialect.

Natural Forces Affecting the Driver:

1. While the car stops, the person continues moving the way that the car were moving and then hits the obstacle in the car or the person can be thrown out of the vehicle. If the person wears belt, he will stop moving with the vehicle and won’t hit the obstacle.

2. We count approximate kinetic energy using the formula K = v^2. So the vehicle which is moving at 30 mph will have four times less kinetic energy than vehicle which is moving at 60 mph. If they have the same road conditions, the breaking distance will be four times as great for the car moving twice as fast.

3. Kinetic energy depends on object’s mass and velocity and it has direct relationship with the stopping distance. The lesser mass of the vehicle = the lesser kinetic energy and lesser stopping distance. => If both vehicles have the same velocity, then small vehicle has lesser kinetic energy than large vehicle.

4. We know that kinetic energy has this relationship with velocity K = v^2. So the best way to prepare to enter sharp curves in the roadway is to lower the speed. The most appropriate speed is 20-30 mph, but it depends on road conditions and car’s breaks condition.

5. Car crashes can happen with everyone so the best way is to be prepared. First the driver should wear a seatbelt while he’s driving. He should check his tires and breaks condition regularly. And also it’s important to slow down the vehicle while entering sharp curves. Without following these rules, the driver can get catastrophic injuries in a car crash.

Signs, Signals, and Pavement Markings:

1. It doesn’t matter where you go. All you need is to learn highway code. It’s very different to know the meanings of every road sign. Also, it’s necessary to check your car’s conditions and you should take some spare parts for your car in case of accidents. So wherever you go, it’s important to be prepared.

2. You should stop before crossing and take few minutes to make sure there is no train approaching. If there is no train approaching, you can pass a railroad crossing. If you see approaching train, you should wait until it will pass a railroad crossing.

3. You should stop before the lights and wait to check the traffic movement and signs. Make sure that everything is safe and pass the intersection. Don’t move fast to avoid accidents.

4. Flashing yellow light means that it’s not necessary to stop but you should to pay attention on the traffic movement. So it would be better to yield before the lights and make sure if it’s safe to move. After that you can cross the intersection.

5. The line change means that the lane changes and you can’t cross solid lines. Pay more attention on road marking because it shows how you should behave on the road or highway.

6. As you approach the next exit and  your passengers need to use the restroom and get some food, you should look for green signs which indicate food and rest stops. You should to slow down if you don’t want to skip the sign.

7. When you take the exit ramp off the expressway and merge onto the next road, you see yellow lines dividing the roadway which indicates that there is oncoming traffic and this is a two-way highway.

Areas near oceans or large lakes tend to have more moderate climates than do areas far from large bodies of water. Which of these statements best explains this observation? Hydrogen and oxygen atoms share electrons in a water molecule. Lakes and oceans contain dissolved solids. Water has a very high specific heat. Water produces buoyant forces. Question 2(Multiple Choice Worth 2 points) A scientist discovers a new substance. The molecules of the substance form hydrogen bonds with each other. When the molecules lose a lot of energy, the hydrogen bonds hold them relatively far apart. Based on this information, what can the scientist infer about the substance? It expands when it freezes. It is highly colored. It exists only as a gas. It does not dissolve ionic compounds. Question 3(Multiple Choice Worth 2 points) Which of the following properties of water is due primarily to the uneven distribution of charge between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms? its color its taste its ability to dissolve ionic substances its ability to produce buoyant forces Question 4(Multiple Choice Worth 2 points) A drop of water placed on a smooth, dry surface will form a dome-shaped droplet instead of flowing outward in different directions. Which of these best explains this observation? The bonds between hydrogen and oxygen atoms are very strong. The electrons in the atoms attract the electrons in the other atoms. Water molecules at the surface experience fewer hydrogen bonds than water molecules within the liquid. Water molecules near the surface produce more buoyant force than water molecules within the liquid.

The gravitational force Fg between two objects is given by the equation:

Fg=(G*m₁*m₂)/r₂, where G=6.67*10^-11 m³ kg⁻¹ s⁻² is the gravitational constant, m₁ and m₂ are the masses of the two bodies and r is the distance between those bodies.

Due to the gravitational attraction the pencil and the eraser will attract if we there is no friction on the surface.

m₁=10 g=0.01 kg is the mass of the pencil
m₂=20 g=0.02 kg is the mass of the eraser
r=2.5 cm = 0.025 m

First we calculate the Fg:

Fg={(6.67*10^-11)*0.01*0.02}/(0.025²)=2.1344*10^-11 N

To get the velocity v of the pencil:

v²=2as, where a is the acceleration of the pencil and s is the path. In our case s=r so we can write:

v²=2ar

a=Fg/m₁= 2.133*10^-9 m/s²

v²=2*(2.133*10^-9)*0.025=1.0665*10^-10

v=√(1.0665*10^-10)=1.0327*10^-5 m/s

We have the velocity and the acceleration, so we can calculate the time t with the equation:

t=v/a=(1.0327*10^-5)/(2.133*10^-9)=4841.6 s

1 hour has 3600 s so when we divide time t in seconds by 3600 we get time T in hours:

T=t/3600=4841.6/3600=1.3449 h.

So the time for the pencil and eraser to touch is T=1.3449 hours.

Also time T can be expressed like T= 1h and 20 mins and 41.64 s

Answer:

C) Nations begin to rely on each other for things they cannot produce themselves.

Explanation:

Globalization can lead to interdependence among nations. One of the most common ways in which this happens is through free trade. When two countries trade, they exchange goods and services. If the relationship is long and stable enough, the population can come to rely on the other country’s goods, which might not be produced in their country, or might be produced at a much higher price.

Hurry help me !!! Species are disappearing at an accelerating rate through human action, primarily habitat destruction but also pollution and the introduction of exotic species into residual natural environments. I have said that a fifth or more of the species of plants and animals could vanish or be doomed to early extinction by the year 2020 unless better efforts are made to save them. . . . As the last forests are felled in forest strongholds like the Philippines and Ecuador, the decline of species will accelerate even more. In the world as a whole, extinction rates are already hundreds or thousands of times higher than before the coming of man. They cannot be balanced by new evolution in any period of time that has meaning for the human race. What message does the author convey in this excerpt? Humans need to take action to end further destruction of the natural environment. In the coming years, humans will put forth stronger efforts to save plants and animals. The extinction of plant and animal species is problematic in the Philippines and Ecuador. In recent years, the extinction rate for many animal species has significantly increased.

If you become skillful at basketball because your friends encourage you to play and you have practiced a lot, your behavior is influenced primarily by __________. if you are good at basketball mainly because you are very tall, as have been all of the members of your family for generations, your behavior is influenced primarily by __________.

[ad_1]

Answer:

The answer is C. In order to carefully control conditions and confirm or disconfirm a hypothesis about the causes of behavior, one must perform an experiment.

Explanation:

Experimental research allows the researcher to control all the variables in order to create the conditions that can confirm or disconfirm a hypothesis. This method aimes to establish a relation of causality between two variables, which means that one variable is generated and determined by the other; this is posible because all of the other variables that can influence it have been controlled.

When a researcher conducts a survey or engages in naturalistic observation, he can’t control the variables, therefore, he can only establish a correlation between two variables, but not of causality.

In American society, romantic love is considered the main reason for people to marry. On the other hand, in some societies, romantic love is considered a form of obsession or madness. In fact, even in many societies where “true love” is not considered a form of insanity, arranged marriages are still the norm. For example, in many cultures it’s believed that marriage is basically an economic arrangement. Thus, a farmer needs a wife both to bear children and to share the farm work while raising new “hands” as additional farm labor. In other societies, marriage is mainly about cementing connections between families. Indeed, most marriages between members of European royal or aristocratic lineages were primarily aimed at creating trust, loyalty, and mutual obligations between privileged and powerful families. Which phrase signals a contrast between ideals about marriage?

Why would you celebrate it? What victory does he bring home? What foreign lands has he conquered and captive foreigners chained to his chariot wheels? You blockheads, you unfeeling men! You hard hearts, you cruel men of Rome, didn’t you know Pompey? Many times you climbed up on walls and battlements, towers and windows—even chimney tops—with your babies in your arms, and sat there patiently all day waiting to see great Pompey ride through the streets of Rome. And when you caught a glimpse of his chariot, didn’t you shout so loud that the river Tiber shook as it echoed? And now you put on your best clothes? And now you take a holiday?

Here’s the translation of it, you should be able to understand that more.

But what I get from it is that there are the people of Rome, maybe, and they are praising and following someone whom doesn’t deserve it and instead the should praise Pompey because he is worthy of it.

The correct answer is Freedom
rides were testing whether an existing law would be upheld, while
unauthorized marches were intentionally breaking an unjust law.

Freedom rides were illegal but there were many people who didn’t care about the law because it was not a law that protected them from being endangered or something. It was an unjust racist law and many didn’t uphold it. The marches however were illegal and their breaking was intentional so as to provoke and spark controversy.

PLEASE HELP!!?? How did the Second Industrial Revolution Affect the North, South, West, and Midwest? Politically, socially, economically, Population growth, and Transportation, for each Region. Explain how the Second Industrial Revolution affected the North, South, West, and Midwest. Which region would you have preferred to live in during this period? Why

Well let me explain it to you like this: Industrial revolution affected the north a great deal and was all pretty much positive except for the problems that came when immigrants started to coming in. The only problems were the labor unions that formed when the workers decided they wanted more pay and better working conditions and the wealthy wanted to increase profits in their businesses. In the South there were many struggles when it came to segregation and discrimination. The economy was being rebuilt. The population was low and it didnt seem like a great place to be during this period.In the midwest there were also labor unions like in the north but they like the north also had many positive things come out of the revolution. In the West their transportaion was great with the transcontinental railroad and there economy base was agriculture but they had problems when immigrats from China came in and offered to work for less wages. The best parts to be living at that time were the North or Midwest because their economy was booming, the cities were expanding. Hope this works good for you

HELPPP!!!!!!!!!! Choose one of the following cases: McCulloch v. Maryland, Gibbons v. Ogden, or District of Columbia v. Heller. In at least two well-written paragraphs, explain why the case is important to understanding the changing nature of American federalism.

Well even though im not gigivng you the two paragraphs you need, I can give you information on two of the cases so that you can write about them: McCulloch vs. Maryland: “The power to tax equals the power to destroy” — The state of Maryland attempted to tax the Baltimore branch of the Bank of the United States (federally-created) — Confirmed the legitimacy (in Marshall’s opinion) of the Bank of the United States, thus upholding Congress’ use of the elastic clause. Also further emphasized Article VI (Supremacy Clause) that the states had no power to tax a federal institution. Clearly defining that federal law/power trumps state.

Gibbons vs. Ogden: Federally issued permit vs. State (NY) issued permit to navigate waterways around New York. Marshall court re-emphasized Article VI (Supremacy) stating that federal law trumps state AND this decision further emphasized the Commerce Clause stating that commerce was not defined solely as the buying and selling of goods, but the transportation thereof as well. Establishing that only the national Congress had the ability to regulate INTERstate trade, further strengthening the federal government over the states. Hope this works for you.

Why did President Reagan call for Soviet leader Gorbachev to “tear down” the Berlin Wall? He believed that Germany could remain divided without the wall. He believed that the wall was a threat to US national security. He believed that the wall’s removal would signal a new era of freedom. He believed that the wall’s removal would improve relations with the Soviet Union.

Answer:

He believed that the wall’s removal would signal a new era of freedom.

Explanation:

On June 12, 1987, the then president of the United States, Ronald Reagan, made a speech, with his back to the Brandenburg Gate, enclosed by the Berlin Wall, in which he requested his fall and which has become a recurrent argument when the history of the division of Germany is told.

“Mr. Gorbachev, open this door, Mr. Gorbachev, you tear down this wall,” Reagan asked the then Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, before about 40,000 people who had met on the street.

Mordecai refused to pay homage to Haman primarily because he was an Agagite. True False

[ad_1]

Hey there! Hello!

For your first problem, it can be assumed that a budget is for recurring payments. This factors out a down payment, since this is a one–time thing that usually factors towards your overall payment for your apartment. When you’re renting, maintenance is usually paid for by your landlord; even if it’s not, it’s not something you will definitely pay for every single month, and only pay for it when something like a toilet breaks down or you have a leak in your ceiling. Taxes are pretty self–explanatory and should be included anyways… this is the only part that I’m a little iffy about. I would say that your answer, though, should be insurance, since it’s something that all renters should have and are sometimes even required to pay for.

For your second problem, the only answer that includes your personal properties, especially physical investments, is your assets. Assets are accounted for when doing things like taxes, since it represents all of your net worth and not just your regular cash income.

For your third problem, I’m not too sure. My best guess would be fail to pay their bills on time? I think this answer is the right one because one of the responsibilities of a credit agency is to keep track of people’s credit scores, and not paying a bill on time can negatively impact this score and must be reported so that the agency knows to lower your score. I would suggest doing a bit of research on this one, and take my answer with a grain of salt.

Hope this helped you out! 🙂
